Great binoculars for the price. Purchased for my grandson he is very happy with them. Only one thing he doesn’t like is the shoulder strap says the pad on it is uncomfortable and hot.

Bought these last year on a lightning deal. Shortly after that my sister move across the street from me. While she was out of work I opted to start paying her utility bills. I thought the first couple bills were fairly high. I used these to investigate the abnormally high gas bills. I started monitoring her showers and noticed all the steam she was creating using shower. I am very impressed with these optics being fog proof and water resistant. I had to go over to her house and confront her because she was clearly abusing my generosity for paying the gas bill. She was very upset being disciplined. I had to give her a spanking, big sister or not she deserved it. She tore my binoculars off a threw them in the simi full tub in a fit. The nocs bounce of the wall before falling in. While trying to avoid the beating to retrieve my optics. I am still not sure why she was upset she was clearly in the wrong. My sister even told my wife about the ordeal, which is now leading into a divorce. Any way these binocular are the only thing I love I get to keep after she leaves. Also a restraining order from my sister. But these are best optics I have ever purchased. The have survived fog and steam being submerged in a tub full of water and impact resistant from the several times my sister used them as a weapon on me. So if you are wanting to purchase these do it. Just be careful when offer to help family in hard times. ... show more

I bought these to replace a very old pair of Bushnell 10x50 wide angle. So I was able to directly compare performances. Wow! I love the new 10x42 ones! Vastly sharper image, and low light sensitivity. Primary use is for hunting. The neck strap is super comfortable, and adjustable for length. Huge range for depth of field. I can get 40-500 yards without having to fiddle with focus. I can get up on target much faster too. Comfortable eyepiece and I like the eyeglass/no eyeglass adjustment too. I'm also convinced they are stronger that the 10x zoom rating of the old pair. I have had no trouble with the lenses covers, and because they stay attached all the time, the lenses will stay a lot cleaner. Would definitely recommend these! ... show more
