Designed to fit Quad Rails or larger diameter rails like a Daniel Defense MK18 Omega or similar while leaving the top picatinny rail section exposed. Rail- Rap Heavy Standard Length: 6″ | Diameter: 1.75″ and up. You can also use the Heavy model on your M-Lok / slim rails and it will cover the entire handguard including the top picatinny rail. The Rail-Rap Heavy is made in the USA DuPont Kevlar TEX-80 thread BPG proprietary DuPont Kevlar Bungee cord rated to 800 F

Fits perfect over my Geissele MK16 rail! Came in very durable plastic package and was sealed well. After removing from the package, the wrap gave me a great first impression. No creases and the two half’s were already laced together. The quality of the material was excellent. Soft to the touch with a perfect balance between flexible and stiff. I was easily able to slide it over my hand guard and cinch it down exactly where I wanted it via the elastic cord. When I tested it, I dropped around 150 rounds of m855 through a 14.5 barrel. I ran this HOT! The barrel was so hot that it was smoking the all the residual oil off and the rail was almost too hot to even hold with gloves. But that didn’t stop this rail wrap from doing its job! The elastic straps held up perfect and were Unphased by the heat, as well as the wrap made it completely tolerable to hold and blocked the heat mirage. Already convinced all my range buddy’s into buying one and I will be getting several more! Defiantly worth every penny! 10/10 would recommend to anyone! ... show more

    • Quality product, but too large for UGRI rail.

The material and construction are high quality. I want to take 1 star off for being just 1/2" too much material for a UGRI upper. Trimming ~1/4" off of each panel would increase the product's fit from "Juuuust too big" to "Works with slim and quad rails", but the description states it's use and I was hoping to get it to fit. It's going to get tossed on a different upper that will work just fine, and I like the product, just be sure you're reading the fine print on sizing. ... show more

Wrap is effective at handling high Temps, but the chord/cable used to tie and hold the two pieces together over the hand rail snapped very easily..was definitely expecting a stronger and higher quality product, especially for this price.
