Okay, so totally my fault, but I ordered the large collar thinking that it would fit my furbabe perfectly..well it turns out his neck is just around 1-1.5 inches too small around, of course lol! And of course I completely forgot about the return window, and I’m about a month passed it. Well I contacted customer service via email, and explained the situation. I loved the collar (bought the leash too) and didn’t want to return it or anything, just wanted a swap out. Well, it took 1 day & they’ve already sent me a new collar in the size I need! I already liked the product before hand, that’s why I bought it lol. Once I got it, I loved it! It’s suburb quality, very strong, & the “seat-belt buckle” concept is awesome! The design is perfect lined up (Vintage American Flag) & the quality of the design is 10/10! After the response I received regarding ‘my own fault’ issue, I will never purchase another product from another company; as long as Buckle-Down sells it, they have my business! I will personally be recommending this company & their products to every single “fur-parent” I know! (& to be fair, even if there was nothing that could have been done to resolve my issue, I would still recommend 100%, just based solely on the quality/durability of the product) I would also like to personally give a shout-out to Lorenzo Colon. My dog can break a plastic type of buckle on her collar quite easily. This collar has a metal buckle that is very sturdy. It looks great & we are very happy with it!

I ordered this for my Aussie maybe 6-8 months ago. He’s very active and this collar is holding strong. Love the distressed flag design. The snap buckle is a bit heavy. I would only get this for a large dog.

I love the look, fit (mostly), and function of this collar. We have an 80 brindle pound boxer and the colors look great on him. My only complaint is that the sizing "slips" from time to time... like when i want to escort him by the collar to the bedroom when we have company. With minimal effort, he can slip his head out of the collar. The sizing clasp doesn't hold and allows him the flex to get out. Now, when we're walking with the leash clipped to the d ring that doesn't seem to be an issue. I'm guessing the collar material is the issue as its very smooth and doesn't seem to "grip" the hardware like other materials. As Bru is mostly a house dog, I'm not worried. If we traveled more with him, I'd probably look into a harness for him. ... show more

I had to get a new collar for my puppy because he keeps growing. I like the seat belt buckle kind, and I like that it was made in the USA. We've only had it for a few days, but we like it so far. It seems like it will hold up.
