The machine runs beautifully. Even stitching, you need to get the "feel" of threading the auto threading assemble, but once you do no problems. It has many options. I am enjoying the machine very much. My only ythough for me is I miss my auto presser foot. A good machine

I purchased this machine because I wanted one that had a larger throat for machine quilting. It’s worked extremely well and I really like the clean features, the digital board with stitch and other various options and the covered thread area. I would’ve liked this to have had a quilting table add-on like my smaller brother machine however, that apparently is not how this particular model works. In the end, this hasn’t been a major issue for me. At this point I also have to say that I do like brothers instruction manuals. They’re very easy to follow in my opinion and some of the better written that I’ve seen. There’s also some videos on how to use this machine on YouTube! I would definitely buy another one of these at some point. I wouldn’t say I am a Brother die hard, but I do really like their products especially the Innov-is! They are simple to use and very flexible to different sewing needs. If you’re ready for an upgrade or a second larger machine, this is a great option I think, for the price.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: I’ve had this machine for about four months now, and overall I still really like it — however, I’ve discovered a significant limitation. The Twin Needle function simply does not work properly. Even when following every instruction — correct needle size, Twin Needle mode activated, straight-stitch setting selected, and the proper presser foot in use — the machine repeatedly displays an E06 “motor locked” error. After researching the issue, I learned this is a known firmware problem with this model and related Brother machines. Unfortunately, that makes this a real drawback for me, since the twin needle feature is meant to provide the same professional finish you’d get from a coverstitch machine — something I was hoping to avoid purchasing separately. Because of this ongoing issue, I’ve lowered my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. ----------------------------------- I absolutely love my new Brother Pacesetter PS500. It’s smooth, solid, and thoughtfully designed — definitely reminds me of my older PC420PRW, but even better in a lot of ways. One feature I wasn’t expecting but truly appreciate is the generous sewing space. It’s much larger than most standard machines, and having that kind of room to work is a game changer. It also has two built-in storage compartments, which is such a smart bonus and it's very quiet and does not have a lot of vibration. The start/stop button, speed control slider, needle up/down, and automatic needle threader make the sewing process much more comfortable. The stitch selection panel is clear and easy to read, and while I may not use all the built-in stitches, it’s great to have so many options available. This is truly the perfect machine for anyone at any level — whether you're starting out or have years of experience, it offers control, space, and convenience in all the right ways.

This machine is so quiet and easy to use. I've already sewed a quilt top and it went smoothly and quickly. The instructions that come with it are very well written and helpful. I love it! Mr Vac and Mrs Sew also included extra feet that don't normally come with the machine. I am Very happy with my purchase!

I am having a lot of fun using my Brother Pacesetter PS500, I do not know enough about sewing, to give a crazy detailed review but so far I have had no issues learning how to use it, everything is quite easy to figure out, it seems to have plenty of power and sews with ease like a well oiled machine, I sat at the feet of my mother and my grandmother who were both seamstresses and made it look like Childs play, you put this here and step on the foot petal and it goes like this, well I am learning, that there is a whole lot of skill that makes it go just like that. I will report back if there are any issues but if it continues to work as well as it has been I cannot see how you can go wrong with the purchase of this sewing machine. machine.
