My review is a bit late due to timing and wanting to give a full review of the machine and customer service. I purchased the machine in April 2023. It arrived fairly quickly. The seller had messaged me and sent some videos on how to be prepared and set up as well as how the machine operates. So I had watched them prior to the machine arrival and knew sort of what to expect. The machine itself is fairly heavy given the size and weight of the machine you definitely will want to arrange at least two very strong persons or more to be ready to lift machine into place. For the price of the machine and all of the features this is an outstanding way to be able to begin or expand embroidery. The machine itself is definitely a game changer in embroidery. 15 needles so less time changing thread and also since multi needle the machine does all of the work once you have your design set unless you are doing appliquΓ© the you set the stops needed. The set up was fairly easy. The machine (I have a single head machineβ€” this is not a single needle just called single head in the BAI organization) is very heavy. This is an industrial type of embroidery machine and once all systems are in place and understand of how the machine controls operate it is fairly easy to use. IF you are new to embroidery (or even been embroidering for years) this machine is a lot to learn but with the help of groups on social media and the wonderful support of the representatives it can be mastered with time dedicated to learning. My recommendation would be to have a digital TOWA tension gauge to use with the machine. For me, once I used this and set the tension properly the only issues have been minor thread breaks here and there which is normal in embroidery work. ... show more

We bought this model in July 2023 after purchasing a Ricoma and we were a bit upset when we got it. Not only is it more affordable than Ricoma, but it is quieter, more functional, and has a higher quality build. Nothing has broken yet; where we've had to replace several arms on the Ricoma. The laser helps you line up designs for perfect placement and the interface is easy to learn. Also, the group on FB is really helpful too! And the best part has been their customer service. They always answer within a few hours despite the time difference! And there isn't an issue they haven't been able to fix. As long as you can send them a video, they can figure out the solution. We've already purchased 2 other Bai machines (another Mirror and a Vision) they are great for beginners and experienced users! We love them! Never going back to Ricoma! ... show more

I've had my Bai Mirror 1501 for close to a week now. I've had some issues with it but they were user error and were quickly solved with the help of Chris Zhong and the Bai team. They are very helpful and very detailed. I've stitched a dozen designs already and have had no issue since being helped by Chris. I recommend if you buy this machine you have a few very strong helpers to help you get it into place. It is VERY heavy. The hats are very easy to complete. The hoops are self explainitory but hard for me personally to hoop tight enough with. I will continue to work on getting to know them better and I do plan on getting the Mighty Hoop starter kit in the near future. Overall I recommend learning as a complete beginner on a smaller machine like a pe 900 like I started with to learn and understand all things embroidery before taking the leap into a 15 needle. If you are ready for a multi needle then this is definitely the one to get! ... show more
