I couldn’t be happier with my BAi Mirror embroidery machine! From the moment it arrived, the experience was impressive. The packaging was extremely secure, and BAi provides a clear, helpful video that walks you through unboxing and assembly. While a couple of steps do require two people, it was straightforward and not an issue at all. I had the machine up and running by the next day, and the stitch quality is absolutely amazing (see photos). I’ve had zero issues with tension, and the machine itself is very user-friendly—even for someone still learning. One of the standout features is the support. BAi offers an incredible library of YouTube videos covering everything from setup and threading to maintenance and troubleshooting. On top of that, their Facebook community is fantastic. The BAi team actively monitors it, and fellow users are quick to jump in and help answer questions. I’m so glad I chose this brand. Between the quality of the machine and the level of support, I truly couldn’t ask for a better experience. Highly recommend!

I thought I would share my experience with this machine to help others make their decisions. So I was looking for an embroidery machine in October and noticed that every industrial machine had a price tag around 14k. I was looking for something a bit more affordable and I came across BAI. I was worried about this because it was half the cost of a Ricoma and I was thinking " what's wrong with it? or can I trust it?". I took the chance and I am truly happy with my purchase. Delivery Process: I reached out to the BAI team and decide to pick it up myself at their warehouse in Rancho Cucamonga. They were really helpful and helped me load it into a 2015 Toyota RAV-4. It fit nicely and everyone was great. Set up: You do need at least three people to get it out of your vehicle and also to place it on your stand once it is assembled. The assembly process only took around 30 minutes and it was very quick and simple. Instructions: There wasn't any instructions for the Screen interface so I still don't know what some of these buttons do. Not sure if it was misplaced during the loading process or it just doesn't come with one. Customer Service: Customer services is great. I don't feel alone when I run into issues with this machine. I think I've had at least three different individuals follow up with me and helped me through any issues I've had. This makes up for any missing instructions because there is someone to help you with any problem you might have. Positives: This machine was easy to set up and I was using it that same day without knowing anything about embroidery. There are a ton of videos that help you with any situation you might have and someone from their team should be able to send you a link to your specific issue. The price is great and I love the fact that it is half the cost of their competitors' machines. I plan on purchasing another machine from them. Negatives: 1. They don't have a free in-house software for embroidery once your purchase the machine. Other companies "give you" access to a free software once you purchase their machine. 2. This machine cost me 6k and it still doesn't have a bobbin runout sensor. I don't have that much experience with embroidery machines but this seems like a basic necessity sense the changing of the bobbin is so frequent.

The price of this machine is much much less than the competitors. I think it’s an excellent value. There is a lot to learn with this machine. If you’re new to embroidery or coming from a single needle machine it will take some time & patience to learn multi needle. I’m sure that’s the same with all brands. The tech support is excellent with BAi. They have technicians/engineers available by chat available almost all the time. They are very responsive, most often answering within the same day & are very encouraging. I was very surprised at how good the tech support is. It’s really personal, I talk to the same person every time & it’s been nice to have them learn what it is I want to get out of the machine. I really needed for them to be patient with me. It really means a lot to me how encouraging they have been. They even follow up with me to make sure I’m still doing ok with the machine when I don’t ask any questions for a few days. BAi has a YouTube channel that has instructional videos that are pretty good. The machine comes with a full set of tools & tool box which is nice. It also comes with a bobbin winder. That adds value not needing to buy that separately. I would recommend when you buy the machine, to also invest in a tension gauge. Setting & adjusting tension has been the most difficult part for me. It comes with a lot of different sized hoops. All the sizes you’d ever need but I would also invest in the magnetic Mighty Hoops because it makes hooping the material so much easier. If you have any troubles with your hands like carpal tunnel or arthritis, the Mighty Hoops will be worth the additional investment. Another thing to think about investing in is embroidery software. You can buy designs (and even find free designs) ready to go online, but it will be much easier with some basic software. BAi has some recommendations on software that the techs can discuss with you. I purchased Embrilliance. It’s fairly priced & you can buy that also on Amazon. You will need embroidery thread, which is not included. In my opinion, if you’re interested in a multineedle machine, this machine is a great choice. Be prepared to be patient with your self while learning & don’t be shy to utilize the tech support.

Luke Ren was absolutely amazing to work with. I was having a really hard time figuring out how to update my BAI Mirror embroidery machine, and no matter what I tried, I just couldn’t get it to work. Luke patiently walked me through the process, explained exactly what needed to be done, and made everything easy to understand. Thanks to his help, the update worked perfectly and my machine is now running exactly as it should. His knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to help truly made a stressful situation so much easier.
