We are new to the pet fountain world and wanted to get one for our three kittens. They absolutely love it and have increased their water consumption. It’s whisper quiet, easy to clean, and I love that if anything went wrong with the pump while we are gone they would still have access to the water in the bowl. The company provides flow reducers to use to get them used to it. We did low for a week and now we’re on medium. It only took them a couple days to get used to it. The fountain is heavy since it’s glass but super easy to fill and refill. I can’t imagine using a slimy plastic fountain. Yes this is more expensive than cheap fountains but it’s 💯 worth the cost. We couldn’t be happier with it. I absolutely love that it’s glass since it cleans up beautifully weekly. It also shipped quickly and very nicely packaged with a lot of information about the company which I love. They also provided a couple refills of the filters. We are thrilled with this product.

Best pet water fountain by FAR (out of at least 5 that I've tried over the years). Big enough for a dog or multiple kitties. My cats warmed up to it quickly. My rag doll cat is afraid of his shadow, and even he loves it. I noticed that they drink for so much longer with their Brook water fountain - research tells me this is because they instinctively only drink to their hearts' content when it's a MOVING water source! Otherwise they only drink what they need to survive, and quit. It is easy to set up, HOWEVER, the pamphlet instructions are terrible (there's even a typo on them), and I had to watch the video to set it up properly. After over a month of using it, the maintenance is still very easy. It's particularly easy to clean compared to other fountains I've had, which is probably what I love most. I'll follow up and edit this comment if I come across any issues. I kept the regular water bowl out at first, but quickly emoved it as they would only drink from their Brook water fountain ❤️❤️❤️ our babies are thirsty, so we really appreciate having such a substantial water source for them that they love. I do agree that it's best to clean at least the glass parts every few days (they get food and stuff in it, and it gets slimy), but it's totally easy and worthwhile. The motor you should do a deeper clean on every few weeks - I use an extra strength vinegar and just pour some of it in the large glass bowl and gently wipe down all the pieces and then rinse in cold clean water (very easy to re-assemble). I would drink from this thing!

I beta-tested this pet fountain with my two cats. The Brook Glass Pet Fountain is the best fountain I have ever purchased. Other fountains I have had were either made of components which released forever chemicals into the water, were too small, too noisy, too hard to clean or some combination thereof. I especially like that the bowl is made of glass because glass helps me limit the amount of forever chemicals my cats ingest. For that reason, among others, glass is safer for my cats. Plus, it is easier to see when the water is low or needs changing. The filtering is impressive and the pump is very quiet. Two very mild negatives: There is a blue light on the filter which lights the bowl from the bottom and which cannot be turned off. Also, the rate of filtering was a bit much at first and the reason, I believe, that it took my cats a couple of days to get used to the fountain. Apparently the company is going to work on adding a way to turn off the light as well as provide a switch so that two filtering rates (fast vs slow) are available. Setup and maintenance were clear from the instructions shipped with the unit and I did not bother to watch the “Setup and Care” video on the company’s website until recently (the video is superb, btw). As mentioned, it took two or three days for my two indoor cats to get used to the fountain. Now they drink almost exclusively from the fountain rather than from a second bowl of water I keep in a different location. I have one male and one female and I am pleased to see that both cats seem to be drinking more water now that they have the glass pet fountain available. The bowl itself is heavier than you might expect and is about 0.25 inches/6mil thick. Cleaning the fountain is extremely easy. I add filtered water to it every couple of days to maintain the water level about an inch below the rim. Once a week I wash the glass dome (aka the “fountainhead"),the glass bowl, and the glass tube with hot water and gentle, unscented dish soap (being sure to rinse the glass several times to eliminate as much soap residue as possible). I rinse the pump with hot water as well. I also quickly rinse charcoal pouch and the particle filter ring (which need to be replaced every two weeks and four weeks, respectively). Once a month you need to pop the back off of the pump, remove and clean the propeller as well as the area exposed when you popped off the plastic casing. The online video shows how simple cleaning the pump is. As mentioned, the charcoal pouches and the particle filter ring are the only things you have to replace on a regular basis. I wish I knew how long the pump is expected to last and where a replacement can be purchased (At the time of this review no option existed on the company’s website to order a replacement pump should one be needed). Fortunately, the pump does not appear to be complicated (and thus expensive to replace). Instead, the design is a common one and I anticipate it lasting at least a couple of years. I am impressed with how well-built the Brook Glass Pet Fountain is. More important, my cats clearly prefer it.

This fountain is very beautiful in design, the materials used (that is easy to clean), and thoughtful safe packaging! The bonus was the extra filters and tiny cleaning brushes along with a small tutorial on how to acclimate a finicky feline to the moving bowl. Those techniques worked and I appreciated knowing a good way to break-in the beautiful fountain. Once the flow wheel was removed, and the light stopper, the fountain was quieter and the gentle water trickle sound is a nice background sound now, along with a tiny blue light to find the water in the dark. Houdini loves drinking from it, and he drinks for a longer time than he used to! Thanks Brook GPF! Follow up: Houdini loves, loves, loves drinking from this fountain daily! Very much appreciated the extra filters and accessories so to keep the water clean. The glass fountain is wonderfully easy to clean and is so beautiful when is running. Houdini loves it, and so do I! I've purchased several fountains over the years, finally ending up with the 'candy cane' flow version which my 3 felines loved, mainly because of the moving water. While I've never had a problem with any of these, they were a bit tedious to clean. I saw an add for Brook, the price made me a little hesitant to justify but I bought one just to check it out. These are heavy, extremely well designed and a breeze to clean. They give you the option to control water flow which is a nice feature and run extremely quiet with the medium size flow adapter. The cats enjoy licking the glass dome and bubbling water coming out from the top. While it is a very basic design, the functionality is extremely efficient. I do need to 'top it off' every 2 days which really isn't a bad thing, the cats drink a lot and some of the water evaporates, that forces me to keep an eye on the unit, again ~ not a big deal. I'm 100% dedicated to the well being of my 3 felines, we now own 3 fountains strategically placed around our home and I look at this as an investment rather than just an somewhat expensive purchase. Well worth the money. BTW, customer service is First Class, they addressed a request that I had immediately. Friendly, professional and a nice sense of humor. 5 PAW Rating for Brook 🐾 🐾 🐾 🐾🐾

I love this fountain! The kit comes with an extra glass tube, 2 different sized cleaning brushes, some filters, and detailed instructions to get you started. I recommend you start out at the lowest setting. My cats did NOT like the faster fountain setting. It's easy to clean, but it takes some time. I clean it thoroughly on a weekly basis. There is a clip on the side of the bowl to hold the cord in place, which is very nice. Mine broke a few days ago, because I take the cord out of the clip to clean. Dont do that. Clean it while the cord is in the clip. I contacted the company to purchase a new clip and they are sending a new one for free. The bowl is very heavy, so be careful. Its quiet, and the pump seems to work well. Filters are easy to replace. Overall, I highly recommend this pet fountain.

I recently purchased Brooks pet drinking fountain, and I’m extremely happy with it. Assembly was quick and easy, and the instructions were clear. Our 4 mounts old Siberian kitten adapted to it right away, which was a huge plus. The flowing water seems to encourage more drinking, which I know is important for his health. One of the main reasons I chose this fountain is because it’s made of glass. My son is a veterinarian, and he always recommends glass products as the most hygienic option for pets. It’s easy to clean, doesn’t hold odors, and feels much safer compared to plastic alternatives. I also appreciate the built-in filtration system. The additional filters help keep the water clean and fresh, and as long as you follow the maintenance instructions, it stays in great condition. The design is beautiful—very sleek and modern—and it looks great anywhere in the house. It doesn’t feel like a typical pet item; it blends in nicely with home decor. Overall, this is a well-designed, high-quality fountain that’s both functional and attractive. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a hygienic and stylish water solution for their cat.

❤️Pros: - It’s huge and deep and pretty. Very high quality solid thic glass, worth the price. - All see through glass parts in open layout allows me to spot immediately whenever the water is needs refill or cleaning. - 3 Simple parts, easy to Assemble and Dissemble for cleaning - ❤️MY CAT LOVES IT (8YO with UTI history) He had two surgeries lately and this fountain helped him stay hydrated through recovery. ❤️🩹 - He digs his head in the ring to lick, he has not figured out the center globe is lickable yet, haha - My cat drinks more water in one sitting than all his previous plastic and stainless steel fountains. 🥲Cons: I had to nock off 1 star because cleaning and refill is a bit high maintenance for ADHD butler with a picky drinker cat. FYI: If you run dishwasher frequently or don’t mind hand cleaning this heavy thing and refilling fresh water every 2-3 days, or your cat is not very picky with water freshness, you can def skip this part of my review. - Water gets a bit cloudy in 2-3 days, probably due to the large contact surface, but it’s the exact feature that my cat likes. - It’s def a workout to lift with all the water, dragging this thing to my sink and moving it back with fresh water does make me break a sweat. - The glass compartments still get slimy like plastic and stainless steel in 3 days. But I still think it’s superior material for cat fountain. - Lifting the whole bowl with one hand and scrubbing with my other hand is a whole arm and wrist work out. I know it’s dish washer safe, I just don’t have enough dirty dishes to justify a full dishwasher run that quickly. - Though not loud, it’s also not the most quiet water fountain, if you’re hypersensitive to water sounds like me it will tickle your brain a little but I kind of got used to it. I like that you have option to turn off the light and adjust water flow volume. Overall still an amazing, well designed, high quality cat fountain, you can tell the inventors put lots of thoughts into this product and did not skimp on material and development cost❤️
