I originally ordered this to use on my patio. I like that it has storage, and the price was good. I ended up using it in my entryway, which used to be a closet with bi-fold doors. Not only is it a perfect fit, but it's sturdy and holds a ton of shoes! I even have a couple pairs of boots in there, and there's still room for more. (I did use some small plastic containers to keep everything from getting crushed and scattered). It was pretty easy to assemble, although having a second person probably would have made things a little easier. I didn't have any trouble putting it together, and the instructions were decent. It took me about an hour to complete. The quality is pretty good too. I was quite impressed with how nice the hinge is. I honestly don't know how it would hold up outside in the elements, but since I am using it inside that won't be an issue. I will say, I think the cushion seems pretty thin, but, again, not going to be a huge issue since we are really only going to sit on it when we put our shoes on. ... show more

I just had a new deck built and wanted new simple (inexpensive) furniture that would look good, be functional and comfortable, and durable. I found it! I'm petite and not a spring chicken. I had no problem assembling the bench on my own in about an hour. The instructions were easy enough to follow I love the zipper lined storage! Assembling this bench looks easy at first, but once you find out that you need to make dozens and dozens and dozens of allen screw half turns it becomes quite an awkward affair - how about using philips screwheads or at least provide an allen tool with a handle..? The bench comes with something I initially though is a cover, but at second inspection it looks more like a bag to help protect contents from moisture/rust..? The product description says "1 x Patio Loveseat 2 x Cushions 1 x Instruction" - not sure what is meant by 2 cushions here as there was one long flat to sit one as expected, but nothing else. On the other hand I had a good number of screws and washers too many - go figure. All that said, this is a great looking bench useful for storage, parcel hiding, and hey - sitting on it :) If assembly were easier I'd even give it 5 stars. ... show more

The bench came without hardware and without instructions. After I contacted the vendor they sent the instructions and they offer to refund $10.00 for the hardware that cost $40.00. After some negotiation he agreed to 30.00 that he sent via paypal which deducted a fee from that amount. Thus vendor does not stay behind their product or their mistakes. The bench is not an outdoor bench. It is made of ratan which lets rain water through. It came with a liner that is designed to protect the box inside but it is difficult to install. The bottom of the storage is also ratan which will not hold tools. Maybe just pillows ... show more
