There is good amount of turmeric as root powder and root extract in these capsules and also included is black pepper extract a necessary ingredient needed to enhance the effects of turmeric. Ginger root powder is also included. Directions say to take 3 capsules daily so there is a 20-day supply in the bottle. The capsules are not as large as some I’ve taken but I prefer to take one capsule with each meal as three capsules of powder at once would be too much for my stomach. Turmeric is great for pain and joint health and I’d rather take it in capsule form than cook with it but that’s just me. Happy with these ingredients wish there were more in a bottle. ... show more

I’ve been slow to jump on the turmeric bandwagon. Although the health properties of turmeric have been known for some time, I’m always a little suspicious when a particular supplement suddenly becomes the new thing. However, in all my reading, I do believe that it will have some benefit for me and so I am trying this Bronson version. The formulation looks to be optimal, based on my reading. The combination of turmeric and ginger is recommended by many health experts and/or gurus, depending on who you listen to, but the medical studies do show benefits for both. It’s also clear that turmeric is not well absorbed without the added black pepper extract so that is why this one looked like a good choice. (Bronson appears to have done their homework.) ;) When trying any new supplement, I believe people should ease into it, particularly ones which have the ability to disrupt digestion. I started taking these only a few days ago but I have started with a low-dose and so far, so good. I suspect the ginger helps with any potential stomach upset but I have not had any issues and my stomach can be a little sensitive so that is a great sign! so far I have not noticed any changes in my health or pain levels (mild arthritis) but I wouldn’t expect to this early. I will try to revisit this review in the future to report on any changes. One last thing: the capsule size is easy to manage. I am not good with pills so finding ones that are easier to swallow is always a plus. ... show more

This is a high-quality supplement with a high concentration of turmeric and ginger, along with BioPerine to increase absorption. The fact that it includes root powder, as well as extract with 95% curcuminoids is a bonus. The curcuminoids are the active ingredients in turmeric that offer the anti-inflammatory benefits. The cost of this supplement is very competitive, so you can be sure you're getting a good deal. Just be aware this supplement does *NOT* claim to be organic, so if that's important to you, you'll need to search for another brand. ... show more

As there are several comprehensive reviews posted, I won't repeat them but instead address a few things they don't explain. I've posted a photo with this supplement (the three small capsules) and the suppleness I currently use (two large capsules). I stongly prefer this supplement and it's very small capsules. Though one dose is three capsules, they are much easier to swallow than others I have tried. This alone would make me consider buying them in the future. The warning for pregnant and breastfeeding women is much stronger on this label than other brands. I would personally consult my doctor or the Infant Risk Center at Texas Tech for the most up to date information. ... show more

This appears to be a very good turmeric + ginger supplement. A daily dose is 3 capsules, so the 360 capsule bottle is a 120 day supply. The daily dose is right where I want it to be: 1500mg of turmeric root powder, 300mg of turmeric root extract (95% curcuminoids), 150mg of ginger root powder and 15g of BioPerine black pepper extract (for enhanced absorption). The capsules are vegetarian. Bronson is a long-established and respected manufacturer of vitamins and other supplements, so I trust the brand. All their products are manufactured in their Long Island, New York GMP-certified facility. The bottle I received had plenty of shelf life remaining (received 12/2023, expires 08/2025). The cost of the supplement - $30 for a 120-day supply when I write this - makes it a very good value. ... show more

Very pleased that I ordered the supplement. The capsules are small, easy to swallow, and tasteless. It combines two herbs, Ginger and turmeric, and adds in black pepper extract for a synergistic effect. I appreciate that the jar is not childproof, but it's well sealed and tamper resistant. I take a turmeric/curcumin supplement every day for joint and muscle pain and I think the supplements with ginger added seem to work better. This brand has 1500mg turmeric powder, 300mg 95% curcumin extract, 150mg ginger and 15mg BioPerine (black pepper) for better absorption in 3 capsules. The capsules are smaller than the big capsules many supplements use so may be easier to swallow if you have trouble with the big ones. 360 capsules in the bottle, a 4 month supply. ... show more
