Dear Bros at Brocraft, please pay a little more attention to your QC. The rod holders are awesome but 3 out of 4 of the rail hardware inserts were too thick by .010” and I had to grind them down to make them fit. They fit now so no need to send more hardware but if I didn’t have a grinder I’d have been SOL. ... show more

This does not fit the Crestliner Suremount system in an XF/XFC. It is not possible, as shipped to make this work. However, if you have a grinder or Dremel and don't mind cutting half the screw off then fumbling around trying to keep the "T" in place as you tighten the knob, AFTER adding a washer (not supplied), it can work. I hate returning things and given Crestliner and Extreme Max (the one you want) are out of stock, I decided to just keep these, but they most certainly are not what you need for these boats. ... show more

Bought two of these rod holders for my Crestliner, one of which the hardware fit exactly the way it should have and the other looks completely different and will not fit without modification. The Mount works very well. I think the bolt that goes into the track could be a little thinner to slide in better, but it works fine. Caught fish with them not that the mount caught them, but they kept my pole secure.
