Fan is Quiet

Replaced a 25 year old fan, and it fit the opening perfect. Works good and is very quiet.

Perfect for installation in a garage bathroom.
Size: 80 CFM
Style: LED Light
Pattern Name: Fan and Heater
First off, now that I have it installed and have used it for a few months, I can say it works great. The installation, which I did myself, can be a bit of a challenge for 24-inch rafter spacing. The brackets only work if the unit is more or less centered between the rafters, which limits your choice of where exactly you may want it. Fortunately, I have the skill to adapt and mounted it using added cross studs, which were also a challege because of where the exhaust hose mounts flush to the surface above the ceiling. The electrical was exactly as I wanted, no remote, and three switches on the wall. I used 14 AWG on a 15-amp breaker circuit for the light and fan, and 12 AWG on a 20-amp breaker circuit for the heater.

Installed in 10-2025. We needed an electrician to install it. The exhaust and heater works well. The light is adjustable for level of brightness before installing. Its not quiet, but not loud for what it is. It looks great.

Heater NOISY
Size: 80 CFM
Style: LED Light
Pattern Name: Fan and Heater
Got as replacement for old Braun, same size for ceiling hole. While the light is great, bright & fan totally quiet, the heater while heating fine sounds like a motorcycle engine I can’t listen to music over it & husb has to yell to be heard. Had electrician who installed it back out to check, it seemed something wrong but they moved it up in the box, braced it more solidly & said that’s as quiet as it’ll be. We live in a really old bldg w little insulation, &;it’s a tiny bathroom. Not sure if those contribute to the noisiness. It’s a bummer as old heater was only slightly louder than reg fan & it was reg fan that failed leading to us getting new unit. I wish we’d tried to fix or get just a new fan flywheel. The new upgraded unit light is vast improvement over old one and reg fan is excellent. Just no idea why heater so loud but it heats up fast & well.

Great fan with multiple functions
Size: 80 CFM
Style: LED Light
Pattern Name: Fan and Heater
This was an awesome bathroom van with heating, ventilation, and white functionality. This was worth every dollar my customer was extremely pleased with this purchase and install. The customer service is excellent. They helped to clarify my question. I just need confirmation on a three function rocker switch. If it would work, they confirmed that it does and they even gave me a part number which I purchased off of Amazon. This is worth every dollar.

you got to work in the attic for part of the install; do it during the cool part of the day.
Size: 80 CFM
Style: LED Light
Pattern Name: Fan and Heater
Works well, fairly quiet, and looks nice. It’s installed in a small bathroom between two bathroom vanities (Jack & Jill floor plan), great fit for the space. The light has three settings, the selection switch is accessed underneath the lens cover; easy to remove & reinstall. I have to replace three more units, but different sizes…probably purchase same brand.

Is this a recalled model designed by AI?
Size: 80 CFM
Style: LED Light
Pattern Name: Fan and Heater
I have been installing vent fans for several decadeds. With previous versions of this type of Braun/NuTone vent systems the internal parts could be swapped out into an existing instalation , leaving the existing housing intact and reuseable. It was my intention to change only the failed components and would have replaced the heating element with the compatible replacement part, which I had ordered. If my client had not accidently recycled the parts I had saved, I would have. Braun/NuTone had kept the same design for ever. They no longer manufacture the older, compatible unit as a whole. This was the most miserable replacement I have ever done. The electrical connection location was different, the ducting slightly off, the access was dot ergonomic for mechanicle or electrical connections. I think the industrial design was done by Artificial Intelligence, because there was little consideration for the process of installation. I would advise avoiding this system in replacement installations. Wires came loose from service plug in location points. The heat whipcord outlet is difficult to reach and test with probes on standard testing equipment. Normally I would complete similiar jobs in two or three hours. I spent significantlly longer. I will never buy this model again. Not up to the quality standards I expect from Braun/ NuTone.Don't do it. You will have regrets. The LED light is the best aspect. I will never get those hours of my life back. Only regrets.
