It easily switches to a forward-facing car seat as your child grows, accommodating up to 65 lbs. ClickTight technology provides fully open seat belt paths that are clearly labeled and easy to access, and the automatic tensioner takes care of the tightening. The baby car seat lets you easily adjust the 14-position no-rethread harness and headrest to help create the perfect fit, and the removable infant insert provides extra comfort on the go. The car seat features 17-inch SpaceSaver technology designed to fit 3-across without compromising on Britax safety and premium comfort. The car seat boasts a patented SafeCell® crumple zone and V-shaped top tether to help manage crash energy. Carbon steel frame and belt paths provide strength and stability. Very happy, bought this for my grandson to grow into for years to come. Can't be the value, he can growth and have plenty of room. You can travel long distance and there is so much padding he's more then comfortable and I know he's really secure in this seat. After we got the seat so hooked in, I know this seat not going anywhere in an accident!!! It's so sturdy, secure, soft, well made, I couldn't be happier. Only down side is it's heavy so I wouldn't want to move it from one vehicle to another all the time. Plus once it's hooked in, it's in. The best car seat! I initially purchased for the safety aspect and trust of a great brand such as Britax. (The cow print is a great bonus). The car seat is extremely easy to install, with guides where to put the belt. The straps can be easily tightened with your growing child, and the cup holder is a great addition that can easily be removed if needed. This is our favorite car seat. My daughter has never complained about being uncomfortable. It’s easy to install and tightens easily. (We used to have a different brand that was VERY hard to tighten). It is a bit heavy, but I don’t mind that because it is SO sturdy.

I don’t normally write reviews but omg I had to do it for this. When I started researching car seats i originally went with the Graco 4ever dlx and my baby absolutely hated it! She normally is fine in her infant car seat but with that one in particular she screamed every time. So I did tons of research and finally landed on the Beitax Poplar S and it is AMAZING. Firstly, it is insanely easy to install. Second, it is great quality and extremely cushioned for comfort. My baby is so calm in it (more so than she is in her infant seat)and falls asleep almost instantly. I really appreciate having the anti rebound bar as well. You can rear face for up to 50lbs which is about 10lbs more than most other car seats. Also, it fits perfectly into my Jeep renegade. The only thing that is possibly a downside is that it is heavy from the steel frame but even if you were to switch it between cars, it’s so easy to install that it pretty much makes up for the con of the weight. I’ll forever buy this brand of car seats for all my future kids. Hope this helps! ... show more

We purchased this car seat after being a Graco car seat family and we will NEVER go back. The Poplar S is the best car seat we’ve purchased. My kids love it, I love it. The colours options are good, the padding is out of this world (wish my seat was that padded - wow!), the straps glide easily, the release button for the straps is tucked out of sight and so if you have a child who likes to try and loosen their straps when you’re driving it would be almost impossible for them to do. We have a van and we had to put these 2 seats in the captains chairs in the middle and the only thing I don’t like is that because of the ClickTight technology we can’t slide the seats at all, and so if you have multiple children in car seats can be a pain to buckle the kids in the backseat I’ve read some other reviews and I’d like to make a few points: - PLEASE READ THE MANUAL ON HOW TO CORRECTLY INSTALL THIS CAR SEAT - the rebound bar MUST be installed with the car seat. Those metal holes you see at the base of the seat cushion are where the rebound bar clicks in. - if your car seat is sliding around then YOU DID NOT INSTALL IT CORRECTLY. Please have someone check the car seat installation for you - per the manual, the strap pads ARE NOT TO BE REMOVED We put our most precious cargo in these seats - please ensure they are correctly installed and if you’re not sure how to reach out to a car seat technician. ... show more

Doesn't recline as much as you think it would depending on the car. My toddler likes to be reclined quite a bit in rear facing so she can snooze. The cow print is cool and this is the newer updated Poplar S with side-impact bolsters that my other Poplar S does not have. Still a great seat and not cheap and crappy feeling like a Graco and better cushioning and fabric material than a Chicco. Get it! ... show more

We love britax! This was the best choice for our toddler. We are a sports family who is always on the road. And we travel 12+ hrs to a destination. Its built with all steel framing that is what we were looking for and this is what we got. It is super easy to install and adjust. The safety is the best when it comes to britax. Functionality is great. It looks and feels nice. My baby is a sweater and there are no stains we've had this for 5 months. Cleaning is simple or a simple youtube short. Best bang for your buck. I absolutely love this car seat. It’s so easy to manage and move from car to car the click tight design is amazing! Best feature ever for a car seat in my opinion. I bought a Nuna originally, thinking that I would love that and I do but I love the Britax more, the Nuna is in the truck and the Britax is in my car. Easy to wash and clean and put back together. I would say that the britax is much easier to put back together than the Nuna was. We’ve had both car seats installed and used for a year now.
