These string lights added a warm, cozy atmosphere to my outdoor canopy setup, especially at night and held up well until a heavy storm rolled in. I purchased two sets and connected them together with ease. The plug and play setup was simple and intuitive, but I did notice one small design flaw: about two bulbs hang awkwardly close to the outlet connection, which makes it a bit tricky if you're trying to keep your setup neat or plug it into a high-mounted outdoor socket. In the future, I’d love to see that section replaced with just a longer stretch of cord without bulbs to allow for a cleaner installation. The bulbs themselves are made of a soft, shatter resistant plastic, which I really appreciate for outdoor use. It gives peace of mind when hanging them in areas with wind or movement. Each set also includes one replacement bulb, which is a thoughtful touch. The lighting is on the dimmer side, but that’s what makes them perfect for creating a soft, ambient glow! Not overly bright, but ideal for a relaxing vibe. They were exactly what I needed to turn my outdoor space into something cozy and inviting. Although my canopy was eventually destroyed in a storm, the lights themselves survived and I plan to repurpose them using poles to hang them around my yard. They’ve proven durable enough to withstand light weather and deliver consistent charm. Overall: A great choice if you're looking for budget-friendly, cozy lighting that’s easy to install and safe for outdoor use. Just be aware of the plug end bulb placement when planning your layout. I picked up these 30-foot Brightown LED string lights to use for my upcoming wedding, and so far I’m really pleased. Although I haven’t had the chance to fully install them at the venue yet, I tested them at home and they worked beautifully. All the bulbs lit up evenly with a nice warm glow, and the overall look is classic and welcoming. The bulbs themselves are made of plastic, but honestly you wouldn’t know it just by looking at them — they still have that glass-like style, without the risk of breaking as easily. That’s a huge plus since I’ll be packing and transporting them across the country for the wedding. They even included a spare bulb in the box, which is thoughtful in case one happens to go out. Another thing I really appreciate is that the cord is designed so you can connect multiple strands together, which I will definitely need for our larger event space. That flexibility is great for bigger areas or if you want to keep adding on down the line. Overall, I’m impressed so far with the look, brightness, and design. I’ll update this review after the wedding once I see how they perform for a longer run, but as of now, they seem to be exactly what I hoped for. ... show more

I didn't read the description clearly to notice it is not a standard base bulb. It's more like a string of Christmas tree lights only bigger. They look nice and worth the price paid. Will see how long they last.
