I wanted to wait to review to see how they've held up and I love them this far. I think this type of light has to fit your preference. I have a small balcony and just ordered one 30ft(?). I hung them diagonally across the balcony and doubled it. I could have did the W shape but didn't like it but just so you understand what you can do with this length. I love that it has a remote. With my previous lights, I had to go outside and plug/unplug them, now I can just hit the remote and keep it moving. I like that you can adjust the percentage of light, change the pattern of light, and set a timer. I only wish that there was something dimmer than the 25% but that's not a biggie just a personal preference. I trust that they will last a good long time. ... show more

I love these. The bulbs are removable, and as you can see on the right side of the picture, you can unscrew the bulbs from parts of the strand that you don’t want to light up. I think it looks a lot better when the part that hangs down from the curtains to connect to the outlet is not lit. They are plastic, so they’ll feel sort of cheap when you hold them, but I like that they won’t shatter like glass- they’re just asking for my cat to pull them down. If/when he does do that, at least they won’t break. Also, they don’t get too hot. I used to have Edison bulbs hanging in the same location, and when I sat at my desk nearby, I could feel the intense heat radiating off of them. I love how Edison bulbs look, but they gate SO hot! These look great and only get warm in comparison- they won’t burn you like other bulbs, and won’t radiate so much heat that you’ll sweat! I was worried that because they’re LEDs, they would be an awful, fluorescent bright white or blue-white color. Luckily, they’re not, and have close to the same warm, orangeish glow that my Edison bulbs did. They are much more welcoming than the bright white ceiling light that came with my apartment. I haven’t used them outside so I can’t attest to that. I also don’t use the connecting feature, but I’ll say that it’s also great that you can connect more at the end if you want, like Christmas lights. Definitely a good buy! ... show more

This is strung up in our three sided shelter for horses and goats. The bulbs never get hot and are the perfect amount of light for the critters as the sun sets or for a rainy day inside. I don’t use the remote so I can’t rate that part.

Pretty impressed with these lights for the price. The remote is a great feature, I typically just keep them on a timer which is super helpful. I also really appreciate the clip-on design as it makes hanging soo easy. My only complaint is that the plastic feels a bit cheap, but they’ve held up well so far ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I own a wedding venue and I ordered these to see how durable they were and how nice they looked. I really do like them and plan to buy more over the next few months for my wedding barn. The only difference between these that I don’t like as much is the spacing between the bulbs. My glass ones have more bulbs spaced closer together. However, I think the trade off in durability and the ability to turn them off with a remote is worth it. ... show more
