First let's address that these boots are not on par with the quality you are going to get from $200-$300 boots. I have several so I can honestly compare. With that said these boots look and feel great!! And as long as you aren't worried about getting to ton of wear out of them they will serve you very well. And let's be honest, if you're paying $60 for a boot you would have to replace them four times to come to the price of a premium boot. I've had mine almost a year and they still look new. But then again they only get worn once or twice a month as I have a rotation of shoes lol. ... show more

I've been looking for a pair of shoes in this style for a while, and I either didn't like the ones that were in the range I was willing to pay, or the ones I did like seemed to be way too expensive. I decided to check Amazon and found a pair I liked the looks of, but was skeptical about what the quality would be at that price. Wow - what a surprise! These shoes easily compare to shoes sold elsewhere for $150+. They look great, fit great, and although the insoles aren't particularly soft or cushiony, I can pick up inserts for about $10 and still be ahead over a hundred bucks. The shoes come with a little "thank you" card from the company owner that's pretty neat too. Bottom line - this is why people shop on Amazon. You find exactly what you want, at the best possible price, and the quality is surprisingly good. If there's any update on the durability or long term comfort of these shoes, I'll update my review but for now, on first impression, these get a solid 5 stars out of 5. ... show more

Previously bought a motorcycle variant of these boots which I liked very much. The fit of these regular Chukka boots is consistent with those. For the money, Jousen boots are a great value. Long term durability still to be determined. They are very comfortable, good looking boots which fit my feet well when worn with medium thickness socks. Some customers suggested they run large so I ordered 1/2 size down, but they felt a little too snug. I ordered my regular size and they were perfect. If you like wearing thin socks, perhaps consider ordering a half size smaller. I have a D width and they feel great. ... show more

I was a sucker and bought two because I really liked the look and color of the shoes, but I agree with other reviewers that these shoes are poorly made. The inside where your heel is will simply deteriorate after 3 months and little chunks of the plastic they use for the heel will start falling into your shoes, making it feel like you just ran through a sandy/rocky beach. Not durable at all and will not buy. Don’t buy! Negative stats if possible. ... show more

Kind of blown away how nice these look and are made at this price point. The faux suede looks and feels exactly like the real thing. It is crazy how close they have come to matching it with only a fraction of the water-stain and wrinkle issues of real leather. Those that reported these fitting a little large are correct. I wear an 11 and ordered a 10.5 -- they fit great. They don't feel overly narrow to me either (like someone else mentioned) and I have fairly wide feet, just know that these type of shoes are not going to be soft and supple right away, it takes awhile for them to soften up and form to your feet. They are only semi-uncomfortable right out of the box, which is very promising. We'll see how they last, but honestly these look and feel just as nice as the fancy $80+ Chukkas you see out there.
