    • Works great for roof top cargo bag
The installation instructions say to swivel the bottom of the mounts to the side, place the bar, then swivel the mount back under the side rail. This was impossible. However, we were able to unscrew the mount completely and then reattach it after the bar was placed on the side rail. It was easy to adjust the length of the crossbars to fit and tighten around the side rails. Adding the cross bars made it much easier to use our roof cargo bag. ... show more

    • Super quiet!
These bars unbelievably quiet. Can only here slight wind resistance above 70mph without whistle etc. Even with Yakima ski racks attached. I wish I would have found these sooner.

    • Overall, really good. Best for the price.
I’ve gone through a lot of the crossbars on Amazon but these were the best for the price. These fit well on my 2019 Tiguan SEL Premium, but the bottom of the mounting clamp is a bit too close to the roof in my opinion (pictures available in the reviews). The sunroof opened without problems. Once tightened, the bars felt sturdy/secure, however, there is no actual lock. The biggest advantage to these over the competitors (in this price range and cheaper), is the wind noise!! These are ssssooooooo much quieter than the others I’ve tried. Yes, there is some wind noise, obviously becomes louder the faster you go, but even over 80mph, these were quieter than others at lesser speeds. Not perfect, but best for this price. ... show more
