So far so good! I just installed these today on my Rogue and it probably took about 20 minutes total. This includes taking my time and laying down a blanket to protect the moonroof and paint. They look and feel heavy duty and as though they are probably from the original factory and they are so much cheaper. They arrived well packaged in perfect condition and with all necessary tools and bolts. The instructions are a little hard to follow but the overall process is simple. Just be sure to start with the front bar and don't tighten it until the rear bar has been attached. Then go through and do all tightening of bolts. I did have to do a little adjusting of the angle with the bolts attached the end piece of each bar to get it to fit flush with the side rail but that was a minor task and solved the issue. Will update if anything changes when carrying my kayak but I don't think theyll have any problems holding the weight. ... show more

im very super happy with them, they are really sturdy and look oem. it was easy to install and I mounted a roof basket to them. it arrived early and everything I needed was in the box. for the price and how sturdy they seem I have no complaints.

    • Perfect for Rogue 2013
Once you follow the instruction carefully, you will have great looking cross bars for your Rogue (mine is 2013). Same color as the side bars, so it looks OEM. I put a car rack (with luggages) over the cross bars and they held up well during 600 miles round trip A few things: 1. Follow the instruction carefully. I was hoping it would be more detailed, but it is enough. Pay Attention to labels. 2. If the cross bars do not easily go in to the bracket to align with the screw holes, use a mallet (not a hammer) to tap in the bar to the bracket. 3. If you live in a rainy area (I live in Seattle), after the installation, you want to spray the screws with Rust Oleum Stops Rust Spray (Matte Clear) to protect the screws from rusting over time. Make sure you cover the top of your roof before you spray. I love its usefulness and its sturdiness. Recommended! ... show more

    • Decent quality crossbars
Used these on a cross country trip from Texas to Colorado. Then from Colorado to New York and we had no problems with them holding our carrier. The install was a bit annoying because it didn’t line up perfectly but we were able to get them on without too much trouble.

The crossbars are a great value. These crossbars were half the price of the Nissan dealership. They look like the factory crossbars. They were fairly easy to install. The biggest problem I had was getting the plugs out of the holes that were put in there by the factory. I checked with the dealership to make sure I was doing it correctly, and they confirmed that I was. You just have to pry them out with two thin screwdrivers to loosen them a little, they pop out. Once I figured out how to do that it was a breeze. I loosened the crossbars to the mechanism that attaches to the rails on my Nissan, and everything slipped into place easily. Don’t forget to re-tighten those bolts once the crossbars are attached. Also I use some thread lock blue to make sure that the bolts did not come loose. Very happy. ... show more

I highly recommend these roof cross bars for your Nissan Rogue. I purchased them to carry my canoe. It was very simple to install on the roof. Only 4 screws (supplied). Used the allen (hex) wrench that came with it. Literally took less than 10 minutes to install. You need practically zero mechanical ability to install. The bars fit perfectly. I did not have to force anything to fit. Importantly, it is very strong and the color perfectly matches the factory roof rails that run the length of the roof. I am very picky about the color matching, too. I would have sent them back if the color didn't match. It arrived well packaged, too. No scuff marks or scratches. Plus, it was about 1/3 the price of the local Nissan dealership. I searched Amazon and many other sites before deciding on these. I am very pleased. ... show more

I ordered this for my 2016 Nissan Rogue SL. Shipping was fast. Product - very good quality, heavy and the silver color matched my factory silver rails from Nissan. Instructions to install were clear and concise. Each bar was labelled, FR (front), RR (rear) with label on the top to say FRONT of vehicle. Fit - these rails fit perfectly. No adjustments were needed to make this work. Simple. Use - I intend to use these to transport my SUP (Stand-Up PaddleBoards). With foam padding (purchased separately) these will work perfectly. Contour - It should be noted that they are not quite flat. These rails are angled and might not work with other devices. For my purposes they are perfect. I installed them myself (5'4" female with limited assembly experience) and never felt stressed. Remove caps from factory and screw in bolts to hold rail. 4 bolts for each rail.
