I thought these were quite easy to install. Fit exactly as described and pictured, pretty easy to adjust location and Crossbar for centering. No tools required, except Scissors to cut Wind Deflectors that go on Bottom of Overhang. They are very nice looking and appear to me to be very good quality. Update, Feb 2, 2023: Drove up to Mt Rose with the Cross Bars (only) and could not hear any sound at all coming from these, got uo to 70+MPH. Also opened sun block and looked back up, front as I placed was almost invisible due to support member in sunroof, could not look back at rear bar location. I almost didn’t buy these because of some of reviews that said the instructions were bad and the installation was difficult. I’m glad I didn’t listen! Yes, the instructions could be more descriptive but if you have ever assembled anything you’ll find it easy to install these crossbars. I put them on my 2020 Ford Explorer in 30 minutes, and they worked great! Easy to install and sturdy! Good product! (And nobody paid me for this review.) ... show more

Nothing is as easy to install as they make it seem. I was finally able to get them on, and it will probably go quicker the next time, but from start to finish, it was about 2 hours (e.g. reading the directions, removing product from the packaging, trying to determine where the crossbars would go). They whistle a fair amount at high speeds. I considered wrapping them in tape as there are open slots on the bottom. But they're very sturdy. ... show more

Installation is easy. With locks on all four connection points, these are secure and strong. We have used the rails for things such as the cargo box on a long road trip, bike mounts for our mountain bikes and also for kayak transport. We have had no problems. Love these rails!

Not only do these bars mount with a better mechanism than the more expensive bars, but the clamping mechanism is thick, solid, and entirely stainless. I've had these since August 2020, and the locks already survived winter with no corrosion. Finally, I have the panoramic roof on my Explorer Limited, and even with it open, there's no whistling or any additional noise. Bought these cross bars for our 2020 Explorer XLT. They fit perfectly, they were easy to install, and they seem to be very sturdy. Both ends of each bar lock. See pictures, I am very pleased with my purchase. They are holding up a Thule XL car top carrier.

This company does not have accurate descriptions on their site. This did not fit our vehicle after two purchases from them. Refunding has been a nightmare as they are refusing to return our money for the product. I am very disappointed and out 300$
