I have a 2019 Honda CRV and these fit perfectly. I was nervous to buy since a few reviews mentioned holes not lining up correctly or there being gaps between the bars and the rail. I had none of these problems. Installation was easy, you barely need the instructions. You just have to pay attention which side your putting the bars on, but they are labled L and R with the L being the drivers side so really shouldn’t be a problem. I wonder if those who had issues with the gap tried to place the shorter rail in the front? Either way, you can adjust the length of bars if needed. I looked around a lot for crossbars for my 2018 CR-V and settled on these after learning the mounting brackets were made of cast aluminum as opposed to plastic mentioned by some other brands. This brand also had the most favorable reviews for earlier models of their crossbars. The corssbars are well marked as Front and Rear, Left and Right. The installation instructions are reasonably clear, but are missing a few details; most notably that of installing the passenger (right side) cover plate after locking down the width adjustment. The cover plate installation is intuitive, but cannot be installed once the crossbar is bolted to the roof rail. So, make sure to install it before final bolting the passenger side down. The only other minor detail with regard to the instructions is that they mention Torx bolts whereas Allen bolts were actually supplied. Once installed these crossbars feel very sturdy, look good and make no additional wind noise that we can tell. The only reason for not giving this product 5 stars is that the rubber trim pieces just don't fit well to the roof rails on the rear brackets. See photos. I removed and readjusted and reinstalled the rear crossbar several times trying to find some way to improve this fit to no avail. Maybe the rear trim pieces aren't correct? Perhaps the manufacture has some suggestions in this regard. The problem seems to only be aesthetic, but looks do count on an installation like this. I'll post an update to this if the trim problem is ever resolved and after we've done a trip or two with the rack loaded with its cargo carrier. ... show more

    • Sturdy but looks sloppy
Materials are solid and assembly is easy enough (after you figure out you have to fully attach it to get the right spacing and then remove it again to replace the screw covers). However, the rubber pads on the base were warped from being packaged loosely and they look really cheap. The plastic screw covers also had a poor fit and look cheap, but at least they are under the rails. I also got two obviously different brands of bolts in the package, but everything did fit. ... show more

These cross bars are a great value, sturdy, well made, and easy install. I had one issue; a small trim piece was broken, on the plastic bag that contained hardware was a number to call if there were any issues.     • NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. GET THE FACTORY MOUNTS. Custom Modification Needed
As others have noted, the bolt holes on the Brightlines Cross Bars do not match up with the factory bolt holes (verified this on 2 CR-Vs, one 2017 and one 2018). I also had to elongate the Brightlines mounting holes with a dremel to make it so i could tighten the bolts to the vehicle. The mounts are length "adjustable" but even at the narrowest setting, they BARELY fit the front mounting location. I literally had to compress the crossbar to get them into place. Whats worse is that you cant even reattach the plastic beauty plates after you attach the bars to the vehicle. So after you find the right length, you need to tighten the crossbar to mount bolts, take the assembly off the car and reattach the beauty plates then reset the bar on the car, and hope they still fit. The rubber mounting pads also came out very warped and 3 out of 4 do not sit flush with the vehicle and look awful. If i could go back and spend the extra money on factory crossbars I would. The monetary savings were most defiantly not worth the hassle they caused. ... show more
