  • Great after market rack extension for your factory rack
Size: 2014-2018
This rack was reasonably easy to install. It provides added functionality for the factory rack at an affordable price. It’s low profile is a nice added value.

  • Solid product
Size: 2019-2023
These went on fairly easy. They seem sturdy and I haven't notice any excess noise. Noticeably sturdy and half the price of name brand.

  • Good alternative to the OEM
Size: 2019-2023
Almost perfect fit for my 2022 Forester Limited (see photos). Need to wiggle it as you attach it to the side rail to get the best/snug fit. Best of all, it’s 60% cheaper than the OEM!

  • Okay product, fantastic service
Size: 2014-2018
This is a product review, so that's the three stars. If there was a separate rating for the company and their service, they'd get 5/5 easily. Anyway, about the product: They look identical to the OEM Aero rails from Subaru. They have a similar feel as well and the same load rating. They're just half the price. I think one area that cuts corners is the bolts used to secure them, and the construction of the holes for the bolts. The bolts: It's apparently a crap shoot as to weather you'll get OEM-style Torx bolts, or generic hex bolts. The benefit of the Torx bolts is they're _slightly_ more difficult for someone without a Torx driver to unscrew, hence another (albeit very thin) layer of security for your roof rack. If you're replacing OEM rails it's not a big deal, as you can just use the Torx bolts from your old and busted rails with these new ones, no problem. My first set of these rails came with Torx bolts, but the replacement they sent me for one of them (more on that later) came with generic hex bolts. Not a big deal for me, as I already had the bolts, but just be aware, your mileage may vary. The rails, or more specifically, the holes in them: So there are total of 6 holes in these things: two on each side to hold the side the top brackets on, for a total of four, and one on each side, which just goes straight through to secure the bottom bracket. The two on each side seem simply drilled and tapped/threaded for the bolts which secure the brackets in place. This seems a bit flimsy, as there's no nut or similar welded on the inside, it's just a few threads in extruded aluminium. Even if you're aware of this and extremely careful, you can strip these out very easily. This is what happened to me. I may have simply gotten a defective one, because the front bar was solid and did not experience this issue. Which leads me to... The company: I reported this issue to AGPonline and they shipped me out a replacement immediately, with a pre-paid return shipping label for the defective bar. It arrived in like 3 days and they just took care of it immediately and professionally. If I could give them 5/5 I would. Summary: Product itself is okay, 3/5, it's an OEM replacement so it's half the cost but when you compare them to the actual OEMs it becomes apparent that they're just a bit lower-quality in terms of feel and construction quality and maybe QC. The company however apparently stands behind their product 100% and handles issues quickly and easily. I would absolutely recommend this product and company to a friend, understanding the above caveats. ... show more

  • Super impressed with these given their price
Size: 2014-2018
We used these to mount a yakima skybox for a trip cross country. Installation was relatively easy but could get frustrating if you regularly install and remove them. They look way better than any thule/yakima bars due to their low profile, but I wouldn't expect them to be as strong. With or without the skybox they created zero noise that was noticeable within the car(forester). As for durability we have only had them a year but they are holding up just fine with no noticeable issue. I was a bit worried about their strength so we filled the box with bulky lighter weight items. The skybox weighs about 50 lbs and I would say we added about another 50-100 lbs of gear. Keeping the weight at or under the 150 lb limit they performed just fine with no noticeable flexing or strain. Considering they cost a fraction of the price, carry the same recommended weight, and look better than Thule/Yakima. I am super pleased with them. ... show more

  • Low Profile. This one is the one to buy
Size: 2019-2023
I wanted one that did not stick up then go to other side of rail. This one is low profile and close to the roof. Looks way better and is easier to use because whatever you have in the rack is lower Does that make sense?
