Purchased because I liked how they looked in photo but in reality they are more rigid and don't fan out but stay in 1 clump. Perhaps in time they will loosen up a bit but I have had them a couple months and they haven't fanned out yet. Stay lit a long time though.

I bought four of these lights to place in flower pots alongside my flowers on a Deck. They are cheerful accent lights , make me smile. Some reviews have said they don’t really sway, can’t speak to that as my deck if fairly sheltered from the wind, and that was not important to me. Some have mentioned that one light out of the 6 does not light. They are not sheltered from the rain, doesn’t seem to be a problem so far. That was true for one of the four I purchased. Mine get strong morning light and that is enough to keep them lit for quite awhile, they are still on when we go to bed. I like them so much I’ve purchased them for my father. If they last thru the summer I’ll be happy, they were inexpensive. ... show more

I live in Phoenix Arizona and I have had these under a palm tree for many months. They shine brighter than some of my other solar lights and they bring a great lighting aspect to the palm trees. They receive about 2 hours of early direct sunlight and then spend multiple hours in very high heat indirect sunlight. They have managed better than other solar lights I’ve purchased in the past. Work well in our front and got a lot of compliments. We do get direct sunlight and the solar charge works well. I wouldn’t say they look like fireflies but they do sway in the wind and blend well with flowers.
