Ranger Tim Holtz distress ink pads are raised ink pads with acid free, non- toxic, fade resistant, water-based dye inks. They're perfect for new vintage, stained, and aged effects for crafters who are creating their Altered books, on scrapbook pages, cards and paper crafts projects. These colors produce a realistic, weathered look on paper, photos, decorative fibers and so much more. Ink pads are 2 inch square, and are stackable. Black soot - similar to black.

    • Distressed Inks Are terrific
I love these inks. Thanks for always having the color I need to order. Sometimes harder to find distressed inks - easier find is distressed oxides, but I really do prefer the inks. Don't expect them to be the same color even with the same name - it seems inks are always a shade or two darker.

Bigger the better especially in Black and Real Brown. I use it for the edges of my canvases, blotting and blending colors. It keeps my hands clean but when I use my finger to blend a little soap and water and done without scrubbing.
