The power cord is over 5 feet long. This lamp works only with 110v outlets but is safe to use in 220v outlets with a 220v-110v voltage converter. What really drew me to this table was the USB/plug spot. I have to have some kind of ASMR playing when I sleep (silence is way too loud, if that makes any sense), so I was just looking for a place to set my phone and my glasses close to the bed. The lamp was also a plus; built into the table, so I get a light and a charging station for the price of a single outlet, which I gain back since there's an outlet built into the table! I really like that the lamp is essentially built into the table, since it takes up a fraction of the space a tabletop lamp would AND my cats can't knock it over. Now I did read the reviews before I made the purchase so I was forewarned about any potential issues. The pictures in the directions are a bit tough to see, but it's pretty simple and there's not a ton of parts so it's easy enough to figure out. It's a very lightweight piece of furniture and to me it feels almost fragile, but it's plenty solid for its purpose. The lamp shade looks pleasant enough, though there is absolutely no way to hide that line where the velcro is. For me it was as simple as turning the line towards the corner of the room. I could also replace the shade entirely if I wanted to, it's sizing is standard enough that the majority of replacements would fit without a problem. So just keep that in mind if you purchase this table and find you just cannot ignore that velcro line. I do really like the table, but there is just one thing that bothers me. I wish that the ports and outlet weren't on the front of the table, because now if I plug anything into it I have cords dangling in front of the top shelf. It could be annoying to reach past if I'm storing books there or just get in the way of the view if I use it for decorations. If I turn the table, the decorative panels block off the access/view. There's two little grooves cut into the top and middle piece where the decorative panels slide in, so the only way around the problem is to take the panels out entirely. Granted, where I have the table it's not like they're highly visible, but I like them and don't want to have to take them out. I wish the manufacturer cut the grooves into all four sides, so that you could choose where you want the panels based on how you want the table positioned. I mean this isn't a huge issue, honestly, but it's just a small detail that if it was addressed could really add just that little something extra. I live in an extremely small cottage, and I always look for pieces of furniture that have dual functionality. I purchased two of these in brown, and I am extremely pleased with them. They are a cinch to assemble, and they look really nice. After using them for over a month, they are still sturdy without a hint of a wobble! I absolutely love the convenience of have two usb ports and one plug so readily accessible. When the grandchildren come for a visit, there is no more fighting over outlets to charge their cellphones. The ports and plug are on the front and fairly discrete. They are easy to reach, no more bending over and trying to plug something in behind the couch. The light is bright, and the top of the table is a good size. I like that the lamp pole is at the back of the table allowing you to use almost the entire surface. The only thing I did not care for was the shade. In my opinion it looks a bit gaudy, so I just purchased shades that better fits my decor. The appearance, the sturdiness and usb ports and plug make this a great piece of furniture and a welcome addition to my livingroom. ... show more

I was really not looking forward to assembling this because I’m always messing something up. Let me tell you...a young child could assemble this! No extra tools needed. Pretty clear instructions. It was almost actually fun! The finished product was sturdy, and very nice looking. I’m charging my iPhone on it now! It’s the right brightness for the room, and plenty of room on the top shelf for books, magazines, and coasters. The middle and lower shelves are nice too, just a little smaller. I’m only giving it a 4 because some of the wood color was off on the edges and corners (very slight), but not enough to bother with returning. I’ve got kids. It’ll look worse in a few months! 😂 The only thing I didn’t realize was that there was a tiny silica pack where the lightbulb goes. I couldn’t figure out why the bulb wouldn’t screw in at first. What?! It was dark in here! Anyway, I’d buy this again if needed. Especially since I can charge my devices with it. What an awesome feature! ... show more

I am extremely pleased with this product. Assembly was very straight forward. Each of the pieces of wood had plastic insets for the screws to attach. This reinforces the connections and makes sure the wood won't fracture or otherwise crack. I was impressed with this addition and very happy that they included it. Other reviews have mentioned the light level being underwhelming. I mean, the product clearly states it's a 60W equivalent bulb, so if you're wanting something higher like 75 or 100W, you know, don't expect that. Obviously. I have this next to my bed in my bedroom and as my primary light source and it's very adequate light level. If you're wanting it to light a larger room, use two. Or something else, I guess. I'd probably just use two of these, since I really like the product. Just saying. The USB and two prong electrical outlet function well and are a wonderful bonus. I use them for my clock and phone charger. Also, this product comes with plastic pieces that snap onto the wooden legs that hold cords against them, to prevent them from dangling and be tripping hazards. I mean, don't expect them to secure the wires against serious pull, but to keep them out of the way, they are more than adequate. All in all, I've been extremely pleased with this product and features. I've recommended it to my friends and family members that I like. ... show more

Great, compact little table. The built in USB is nice for our gaming collection where we can plug in controllers to charge and keep playing without getting up (or if you don't have a long enough cord to reach your console to your seat and not enough controllers to swap out.) I can even charge my phone! I think it is a somewhat reasonable price compared to most tables with built in usb and a lamp, sleek design and ships compactly. Easy to put together and I was even surprised to find it came with a lightbulb. All in all, pleased with it so far. My only complaint is that it is SLIGHTLY smaller than I was hoping for the price, so much so that my average sized laptop doesn't even fit comfortably in the storage areas. Oh well! ... show more

Will add a picture. Great quality product for this price point. Assembles very quick and easy. I've had lamps like this before and the assembly took much longer. Seems very sturdy. Lamp and bulb work fine. One complaint the stickers on there that do not come off so easy. I'm sure it's required from seller but they stick it right on the wood table, it's underneath but not gonna spend all day picking it off, so it's just still there on mine half peeled. ... show more

We bought two table/lamps for our son who was moving into a new place. The assembly was simple and the clever design makes for a really nice addition to his living room. The built-in USB ports and plug (he put a night light in one) are really handy! Nice job Brightech!!! Kudos to the customer service department, too. Each of the two lamps had a flaw: one lamp had a bad connector at the midpoint of the lamp cord; and the other table had missing grooves in the center shelf, causing the decorative panels to bow outwards. I sent photos to the company, and they provided a whole new table from which we could have spare parts. It would have been better if the order was perfect the first time, but the company was very helpful in making it right. We would definitely buy from them again. ... show more
