This product works better than expected based on owning a lot of solar lights. With one relatively small panel, a whole string of white stays lit usually all night most nights. It has a dimmer switch, so I keep it a little bit low because I don’t need a lot of light unless we’re going outside and want it. Actually, it’s pretty cozy on a dimmer setting. It’s easily enough to navigate with. If I said any brighter, it would be harder to see the stars. I put it out back just for safety so we would see if someone is in the backyard but really because my cat would see things in the backyard. We couldn’t see them. Well, I think we have less creatures coming around since I put it out, oh well. I liked the odd cat that would visit once in a while, but maybe not so much of the things that eat our vegetables. So I’m ordering another one for the front porch because I have solar lighting already, but this will allow me to put a whole string of lights inside the substantial covered porch area. This will allow deliveries at night and more than enough light for visitors. Great quality. Easy to use. I highly recommend this product. ... show more

This is the third set I have ordered. The lights are nice and bright and extremely durable outside. I use them on my horse stall and after two years the original lights are still holding up. Definitely one of the best solar outside lights! They held up thru hot summers, rainy season and snow!

The media could not be loaded. Real quality build on these, not to bright, but the give a nice soft light on the staircase. I didn't get a remote control for this string, but the dust the dark feature works really well. With 4 to 6 hours of direct sunlight they'll last until dawn. Didn't have any issue with the cord tangling when I put them up. The installation was extremely easy I just bought little hooks and used the mechanism they come with. Even during a Florida storm they haven't come down. A great buy to really highlight your home and give you some ambient light at night. ... show more

These lights are just what we were looking for. LED lighting that is solar, come on at dusk and go off automatically. As far as that goes they work as they should. Super easy to install on our new deck. Light arrived within a couple of days. Had a bit of charge and turned on with the remote but then shut off after about 30 seconds. Okay it's light out so no big deal. I installed them just screwed them in using the built in mounts. Super easy took about 30 minutes. Great. Mounted the solar panel on the south side of the deck. Gets full sun till about 5 pm when the sun goes behind the house. Lights do not come on until it is almost too dark to see. Lights came on as they should. Perfect. Set to the default brightness. Perfect lighting. So far so good. Stayed on for about an hour give or take 10 minutes and light shut off. Won't turn back on. Okay needs more m9re charge... let them charge all the next day full sun till about 5 pm. Came on at 9:00pm very dark out. Lights turned on. Default brightness. Turned off at 10:00pm. Won't come back on. We're about 3 weeks in and sonfar same thing, lasts about an hour then dead. Paperwork says should last 4 - 8 hours depending on brightness. Haven't gotten 4 hours yet. Solar panel gets direct sunlight for at least 8 hours a day but the lights just don't last. Wish there was a way to calibrate the darkness when the photocell turns the lights on or a way to turn the lights on when I want them and have them stay on. 3 stars because they do what isnstated but doesn't last as expected. ... show more
