These look great...however the brightness doesn't change with the remote, just the color temperature...might have to pair the remote with the panel again ..the lights were supposed to blink twice and they only blinked once, so maybe that's why. But I really like them...charging all day gives them a run time from dark until sunup the following morning!!! Yes...i couldn't believe it...they stay on all night even with cloudy days!!! The solar panel is a heavy duty panel that is glass, not plastic....it comes with a ground stake or a heavy duty clip for installation. I used the ground stake, but instead, attached the panel to my fence with 3 zip ties using the stake to attach it. They have 15 lights (48 ft total length) plenty long enough in between bulbs...the cord is thicker than my last ones and the bulbs screw in easily...I even received an extra bulb insert in case one goes bad...plus the whole unit is waterproof! My only complaint would be that I wish the cord that plugs in from the last light to the panel were a couple feet longer so I could place the solar panel on the corner of my fence. It gets plenty of sun now, but come winter the southern sun will no longer shine over my roof and I will only get the early morning sun where I now have the panel. So I know they won't stay lit very long in the winter with less sunlight . I have them attached with zip ties to the top of my 40" pet fence around my patio. I usually keep them on the natural color mode or the cool white....I don't like the warm white cuz it is amber ( like my last ones) and I don't like the amber! I live in a very rural area with a deep woods bordering my backyard, so it's total darkness in my backyard at night...thanks to these lights I can see on my patio now and can enjoy the cool evenings outside..... I can also tell if any critters are coming close to the house! (I'm not worried about the small guys...just the coyotes and bears!). I'm really glad I got them and am really hoping they will last a long time! ... show more

These lights are perfect for our garden. The solar panel charges the lights up well and they last for hours. I especially like the fact that I can turn the lights on with the remote before it’s totally dark and can also set them on a timer to turn on and off at a certain time each night. Being able to adjust the brightness is an added bonus. These aren’t the brightest lights on the market, but we don’t want super bright light in our garden seating area at night, so these are perfect for our needs. These lights also work well with solar extension cords. Just make sure they have the two-pin plug connection, and you’re good to go. We have had so many different strings of solar lights over the years manufactured by all different brands, and they have all broken before the end of summer. The last string we had didn’t even last a week. They have never been able to stand up to the wind or being hit by twigs and sticks dropped by our oak tree. This year we finally found these Brightech lights. The listing photos looked like these would be more heavy-duty construction than any we have had in the past, and they didn’t disappoint in person. They are far more durable than any other solar lights we’ve ever had. The day after we hung them, we had a major windstorm that lasted for a couple of days. They withstood the high winds and being hit by falling sticks, twigs and small branches from our oak tree and came through it all like a champ. So far, I am super impressed. ... show more

Works well for maybe a few months, but came home to the cord literally snapped.. so not very durable at all. There was no tension on the cord either. Also solar panel only worked for a few months before having to get a new one. Not really worth spending money on, Go with a better brand and spend a bit more. ... show more

Actually got these a year ago, they have gone through the hot summer, Indiana wind, rain and storms, were left out all winter and would shine brightly if they had a sunny day. Now it is spring and they look awesome and work like new. We did decide to put them under roof on my she-shed and will say that helps keep them in better shape. We put the solar charger on top of the roof and on a sunny day these will stay lit almost all night! Also they put out just the right amount of light for an area where you are having a party or gathering, not to bright but plenty to see each other and paths. Going to purchase more. ... show more

So far these lights work perfectly. Giving 4 stars due to not receiving the spare light as indicated in the description and instruction manual. Where we have these placed, right outside a wooded area, the solar still picks up really well. I expected alittle more brightness but it works out fine for our area. ... show more
