Actually got these a year ago, they have gone through the hot summer, Indiana wind, rain and storms, were left out all winter and would shine brightly if they had a sunny day. Now it is spring and they look awesome and work like new. We did decide to put them under roof on my she-shed and will say that helps keep them in better shape. We put the solar charger on top of the roof and on a sunny day these will stay lit almost all night! Also they put out just the right amount of light for an area where you are having a party or gathering, not to bright but plenty to see each other and paths. Going to purchase more.

Worked out of the box, light is good enough for me, soft and just enough to illuminate the area. Easy to mount, I did it on my wooded fence. The cable and connections seem good quality. Easy to control with the included remote. Wife approves lol. Will update if issues.

We purchased two sets of these lights and they are great, made it thru the winter in new england. However, one of the solar panels stopped working and their is a one year warranty (checked the batteries, they are fine). We tried to contact the company several times, but they have ignored us. Especially disappointing because they are still in businesss to sell their product, just do not want to stand behind their stated warranty.

These lights are perfect for our garden. The solar panel charges the lights up well and they last for hours. I especially like the fact that I can turn the lights on with the remote before it’s totally dark and can also set them on a timer to turn on and off at a certain time each night. Being able to adjust the brightness is an added bonus. These aren’t the brightest lights on the market, but we don’t want super bright light in our garden seating area at night, so these are perfect for our needs. These lights also work well with solar extension cords. Just make sure they have the two-pin plug connection, and you’re good to go. We have had so many different strings of solar lights over the years manufactured by all different brands, and they have all broken before the end of summer. The last string we had didn’t even last a week. They have never been able to stand up to the wind or being hit by twigs and sticks dropped by our oak tree. This year we finally found these Brightech lights. The listing photos looked like these would be more heavy-duty construction than any we have had in the past, and they didn’t disappoint in person. They are far more durable than any other solar lights we’ve ever had. The day after we hung them, we had a major windstorm that lasted for a couple of days. They withstood the high winds and being hit by falling sticks, twigs and small branches from our oak tree and came through it all like a champ. So far, I am super impressed.

Update - Added 2 stars for customer service I did reach out to the company and because the lights are under a warranty with them, they sent me a new solar panel and the lights are working again. I have secured them to our fence this time rather than hanging them from poles in the yard. They’ve been up for a couple of weeks with no issues. Original 1 star: I bought these in October 2025. I loved the remote feature and the settings. They worked great for about a month. Then, they worked intermittently. I thought maybe it was that we weren't getting enough sun. I adjusted the solar panel. I've plugged them in. I've checked the battery compartment to ensure there's no water or insects in the battery compartment. Nothing. They just simply do not work anymore. A waste of money. I hate I've taken so long to write a review.
