This is a very convenient air conditioner. It works well and really cools a room quickly. I have an apartment that I don't want to install window conditioners, so this works really well for me. I actually bought another one for the other room.

Great purchase can't beat the price. Easy to set up. We use for air conditioning only. Quieter than our old window unit. Air flow is strong easily cools 3 rooms in our home when on high speed. I like how the air flows up so it isn't hitting you directly when you sit down.

    • Finally able to get a good night sleep in hot humid weather
This was so easy to place and get started. We used it to just cool our bedroom as our central air just can't keep up. I don't think it is very loud & it's easy to sleep thru. Plus it cools our bedroom very quickly. We have only had a couple of issues. Within the first week the display changed from °F to °C with no directions in the manual on how to change it back. The only other issue we ran into was user error. We did not account for just how much drainage would be produced and ended up with a huge soggy floor the first night. A one gallon bucket for drainage can not keep up with midwest US corn sweat. Switched to a 5 gallon bucket that we emptied twice a day & we were set. Needless to say, it really helped with the massive amounts of humidity. ... show more

This product is not a 14000 btus All documents related included the box come showing 10000 but the description says 14000 Other issue that the machine has is that cause a power outage on the house. The seller do not want me to return the machine and even after Amazon get involved it says will not return the full amount Do not buy it if you do not want have a headache and lose money ... show more

Gets the job done at a fantastic price! Not too loud and will definitely keep you cool even on the hot days. Easy set up to. Keeps it comfortable all day long. I'll updater late on howe much it impacts the electric bill.

This is a great little unit. My daughter purchased one for her room and loved it so much she encouraged me to get one so I didn’t have to suffer anymore. I’m so glad I followed her advice. LOVE it. I purchased one for my bedroom as well. They are less noisy than other portable air conditioners I’ve tried in the past. It is solid and fairly heavy but not as bulky which is a HUGE plus. There is a drainage hose that comes out the back, you will need to set it into a bucket or something to catch the water it creates when running. I personally use a 5 gallon water storage container. That keeps the hose inside securely, and is large enough I don’t need to be panicked about water flooding every time I use it. It looks classy not cheap and desperate. There is a little bit of set up required, but nothing to difficult or strenuous. The hose fits securely out the window and is not flimsy and cheap. It gets my room so cold. What a breath of fresh air this has been so far this summer. I haven’t had it long enough to see what my electric bill will be, but given how hot it is where I am right now, I’m so glad I have it.
