It’s nice to have an adapter that will shut itself down once the maximum charging has been reached or there is a power-surge in the electricity. But the only downside is once the adapter shuts itself down you have to unplug your cable and replug it back in to start charging your device again. There have been times when my tablet has been plugged in and the charging monitor on my tablet indicates that it is charging but it isn’t. So I unplug the cable from the adapter (sometimes the outlet too) then replug everything back in to get it to actually fully charge again. It’s just habit now to do this if I see a drop in charge on my tablet even though it indicates it’s charging because it usually means my adapter has triggered its circuit breaker.
