    • Love the feature combinations this device supports; slow cooker or pressure cooker
This unit truly supports it all. Pre-set selections for many different dishes/foods which can also be manually changed if desired. And I am absolutely amazed that it has a lot of variable pressure cooker levels between 1.5 and 12 psi - absolutely mind blowing! I still remember my first pressure cooker from like 40 years ago that had a simple weight on top and had to be placed on stovetop. At the time I thought this was really incredible, not even thinking about how much technology could change on a device like this. This device is truly high tech and appears to work flawlessly. The only thing I found that was somewhat off is that it preset beans to 20 mins at 12 psi. At the end of that time some of the beans were almost crunchy so I had to do another 15 mins at 12 psi. I don't really consider this much of a problem to be honest - I think it is just a matter of getting used to modifying the settings and cook time as needed. I would highly recommend this device to anyone. Yes it is somewhat expensive but with all the features it supports it is well worth the price! ... show more

This has given us so much time back. Don’t need to wait long hours to cook beans. Pressure cooker gets the job done in 20 mins. Very easy to use, keeps food warm, stainless steel inner pot is a plus.

Very heavy. Rigid function as lid does not come off. Back to instant pot. I was hopeful. A terrible fit for my cooking and life.

    • Wonderful cooker - a bit of a learning curve
This cooks wonderfully. I got it to replace an Instant Pot. The reason four instead of five stars is that (unlike the Instant Pot) there is nothing instinctual about how to use it. It’s a bit of a learning curve. But my soup is better than ever…..

I bought this to replace my slow cooker. I wanted a stainless steel insert. I have other Breville appliances and have been satisfied with the quality so I purchased this. It happened to be not only a slow cooker but a pressure cooker which I wasn’t interested in. However, since I’ve had it I have used the pressure cooking function many times and love it. Meals are quick. Grass fed beef cuts which tend to be a bit tougher come out very tender. I do prefer an oval vs round pot. Even still it has good capacity. That’s my only complaint. Works great, this unit has stainless steel in the inside has no plastic perfect for what we need. I bought it for my son and he loves it my sister also has one and she recommended this unit to me and she does a lot of cooking so she knows it's good. We used it , highly recommend.
