I have been looking for a toaster for some time since our last one decided to quit. Well, it was 18 years old. I tried to find the same brand, but they only make toaster ovens now. I tried on the more commonly ordered toaster, it was garbage. Sent it back. I didn't want fancy, just something with quality. So, I set out to find a commercial-grade toaster, thinking that it would solve my poor-quality issue. It did not. So, I decided that toasting a nice piece of toast in a reasonable time, I need a 1800-watt toaster. I came across this one. It looked nice. I was thinking more traditional with the slot position. So I decided to give this one a try. It performs so well. The Beagle feature is perfect. The LED light on the slide lever is a nice touch without getting too techy looking. It makes a really niche piece of toast. Yes, it is a little pricier than other models, but not with a 1800-watt rating. I am hoping this toaster will last 18 years. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. There are not a lot of quality toasters out there. Buy this one, I don't think you will be disappointed.

We LOVE this toaster! I bake my own gluten-free bread, slice it and freeze it. With the right setting for darkness, the frozen button works accurately for a one-time toast. Also like that it shows how long you have until the toast is done. Slots fit a bagel and probably a waffle too...haven't tried that yet. Easy to pull power plug so that you don't stress the cord. Breville makes a quality product in a time when that seems to be hard to come by. Just buy it!

It pains me to write this because I have a Breville pro/ air fry over than I absolutely love. I was planning on buying more of their appliances because of that. THEN I BOUGHT THIS TOASTER. It has been a disappointment since day 1 and I should have returned it but thought it was me having to get use to all the functions buttons and settings . It wasn’t, it’s the toaster. Read all the 1 star reviews, I too had inner elements only work in bagel mode. I would use frozen & the little more button and would get 1 side soggy waffles on one side /dark on the other even after hitting a little extra time. Also the outer elements don’t all heat evenly or even stick out to heat up uniformly so it toasts the one side unevenly. What really bothers me is that this is a Breville that costs $100. As opposed to a $35-$60 toaster. Breville now has lost me as a future customer. I discovered the element issue 1 yr+ 2 wks. So 2wks out of warranty. I’m not even going to put myself what others went through after reading their stories to contact them. I’m just going to buy a different toaster and throw this in the garbage where it belongs . Obviously they have electrical, sensor? And can’t even toast correctly. I mean my God this isn’t rocket science, it’s a toaster- and a Breville. Shame on this company for selling a product that has a proven record of similar issues with a lot of customers. Oh and when I went to fill out a ticket for assistance/ or help with these issues, I couldn’t even submit it because it didn’t give a a drop down menu to select my appliance so I could not get the form completed . Red flag right there. DO NO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS. YOU CAN BUY 3 toasters that work for the price of this piece of garbage. Disgusted and sad at the same time. I really wanted a complete kitchen of matching BREVILLE appliances ( espresso etc) and now they list those sales. And those other appliances are expensive machines. I hope they read this and take action. They really dropped the ball with this.

This is a really nice toaster it toasts evenly on all types of bread and the long slots let you toast slices from round loaves making the toaster very versatile . the chrome finish is easy to keep clean and the crumb tray easy in and out. I had one for several years and it preformed very well until it accidentally had some water splashed into it and fry the electronics so this one is a replacement

Love this toaster! I have it for almost 1 month and I use it every morning to toast either my whole grain toast or frozen bagel! Very happy with the purchase! Great quality and worth the money! My friend recommended to me and I love it!

Had one of these for about five years (it was a hand me down from a friend so it was even older) and loved it so much that when it died recently I replaced it with the same one - and I am very disappointed. All the things my old one did well, this one fails at. First, it does not toast the bread evenly on both sides or across each side. It is also very inconsistent with toasting color from batch to batch even though the doneness level does not get moved. This toaster gets light use (2 slices of bread 3-4 times a week) but after a few months one of the metal wires that closes the metal frame that holds the bread in place came loose inside so the bread isn’t held in place properly. So now it really doesn’t toast evenly. I was willing to pay for the quality I experienced with my old one but the quality has significantly decreased and I would not buy it again. Not a good value and don’t recommend.
