I waited about a week to review this item because it is working extremely well and I didn’t want to jinx it. This heater is powerful enough to heat up a large (15ftx15ft) room to 70 degrees when the outside temperature is 30 degrees fahrenheit with no help from additional sources of heat. It is a HUGE improvement over the smaller, football sized heaters that I’ve become accustomed to. It’s 16.5” tall x 5” wide x 6” deep and it oscillates from side to side. It comes with a remote control, has 3 heat settings and it is simple to operate. Press one button to turn it on, and press the same button to power it down and turn it off within 15 seconds. It’s pretty to look at and it is virtually silent. The outside shell is made of hard plastic so it probably wouldn’t survive a fall onto a hard concrete floor but any other environment should be just fine. It’s REALLY nice . ... show more

This Space heater was ordered for my oldest sister 73, who lives alone in Reno NV, and it gets alot of snow storms, and very cold. She has a limited income, and mentioned to me that the small table heater someone had gotten for her had gone out, and wasnt working. Temperatures there before Christmas were in the 20's - 30's. Anyway, I decided to order this item for her. I gave her day, approx. time for delivery so she would be available and get it. It was delivered in 2 days as expected, packaging was good. She told me she couldn't get it to work, bacause it seemed to have too many parts to put together? But it was an easy fix, out of the box already assembled and remove packaged item and plug it in. No assembly required. She was very pleased and happy that she was able to heat her living space and move the heater around to the living area and bedroom. Recommended and Very nice heater. Do not buy. We have had this unit for 3 months and it has stopped working. It defaulted to the highest heat setting, then overheated and shut down. It smelled very bad. We consider this a danger to have in your home. We were fooled by the good reviews. Please do not use this item in your home.

This is a really nice little heater. It is so quiet and puts out a good amount of heat. I bought it to use in an open office area and it helps keep me and the person that sits next to me warm. It would be nice if there were a place to store the little remote, but not a big deal.
