In the end it came down to customer service. I’d been reading the Snoo service was terrible, so I went with this bassinet based on reviews and the fact I could return it without paying crazy fees and dealing with a big hassle. I’m definitely NOT returning this. Love the adjustable height. I have it up to the max height for my husband and although the manual says not to, I have it clicked one setting lower on one side for my baby that has reflux. The rocking is gentle but effective. My 7 week old has been using this since 4 weeks and he sleeps almost 12 hours. I have to wake him up to eat and change diapers. He’s really comfortable. I put him in drowsy but not asleep and use the rocking function for about 5 minutes until he’s asleep and then turn it off. I ordered the vavasoo mattress cover and sheets. The cover isn’t necessary because the mattress is waterproof but it does add some comfort/padding and fits like a glove. The sheets are essential and fit perfectly. We swaddle him with a muslin blanket or Velcro swaddle inside and he seems to love that. I also like that you can have it as a standalone bassinet or strap it to the bed. The wheels make it easy to move room to room if needed. I spilled a little liquid vitamin on the side and it wiped up nicely considering how bad that stuff stains. Yes, the music sucks as other reviews state. We have our own sound machine anyway. The only button I push on the remote is rock and power to turn it off. This bassinet was a great, random find. I’m so glad I didn’t get a Snoo - this has every feature I wanted and more, looks great, is sturdy and I feel comfortable knowing if I have a problem I can contact the mfr or Amazon easily.     • Very Functional Rocking Bassinet

Hands down the best purchase I made for baby number 4. The size (huge!) allows for at least 6 months of use, if not more for babies on the smaller side or less active babies. The snuggle me lounger fits inside perfectly, as seen in the video. Perfect for napping when the baby is smaller. I love that it has wheels that turn easily because we have some tight corners in the house with all the furniture and we like to move him around in the bassinet for many reasons. Very sturdy and well built! No cheap material at all, the mesh is perfect and the basket at the bottom isn’t half bad either. We usually keep the bassinet at the lowest level but the higher levels help when we have it in the kitchen for convenience or when I’m working at my desk. There are lots of sound options, I just wish I could pick one sound and let it play continuously instead of the loop it does with all the sounds. There’s a great range on the volume control. There’s 3 speed options for the rocker and it’s not super noisy which is a huge plus. My 4 month old has slept in it from week 1 and loves it, even sleeps through the night now. I use snuggle me covers to cover the mattress if you need an idea of the mattress size. Overall, very functional, portable in most spaces with wheels that lock in place if you need that option. ... show more

After researching multiple cribs, I liked the fact that this one was rocking and had white noise and songs built in as a feature. Since it is twice the price of most cribs, I naively thought that it would mean I’m making a right decision. I WAS SO WRONG. Literally the very first thing you need to assemble are wheels. WHEELS DO NOT HOLD. However, I assumed that once I assemble the entire crib, it will be heavy enough so wheels will stay in place. (No. As I finished assembling the crib and started moving it, one of the wheels fell off. This fact alone for me is enough to return the crib). I’m surprised no one else is saying this in their reviews. There are a few more things I would to share. There was one review saying that once you turn on the crib on to rock, music starts to play. It is true. After you turn the crib off, it always turns on with the same melody that is pretty active. First you have 3 songs, only after that you get 3 what I suppose should be white noise. THERE IS NO WHITE NOISE! It is (1) music with bird singing, (2) bird singing, (3) white noise with bird singing. Another thing I didn’t like is that a mattress is very thin and bottom surface is hard. You need to buy another mattress. I am definitely returning it. Very disappointed . ... show more

What I especially like: - Rocking feature! This was the main reason I picked this bassinet originally (didn't want to pay so much for a Snoo but wanted one that has automated rocking). It has 3 rocking speeds: what I'd consider Very Slow, Slow, and Medium-Slow. However the top speed (Medium-Slow) seems to be fast enough for my baby. It doesn't "rock" in a conventional sense: The bassinet mattress simply moves back and forth from right to left without any tilt, so there's no risk of the baby rolling around. - Height adjustable. I didn't want a bassinet where I had to bend down to put the baby in and out. This bassinet allowed me to adjust it exactly the height that suited me. - Bedside co-sleeper mode: I generally don't use this in co-sleeper mode, but I like that the functionality is there. It's nice to open up the side of the bassinet when I want to. - Sturdy. Doesn't look like it could tip by mistake. - Has wheels but doesn't roll around by itself on our carpet (not sure how this would be on wood floor) - Very roomy for baby (looks like it has tons of room for growth) but it's not a huge piece of furniture - Customer service is top notch: After 3 years the motor stopped working.     • Pretty sure this is why my newborn sleeps through the night

My now 10 week old started sleeping through the night around 6 weeks, which was right when we tried this rocking bassinet. Could be coincidence, but I’m inclined to think that this bassinet is a big reason why. I tried the Graco Sense2Snooze first, but the rocking motion was too aggressive, even on the lowest setting. And the cry detection feature didn’t work well -as when my baby started crying and the bassinet began to rock, it rocked so hard it moved her to the bottom of the bassinet… ha which just made her more upset. The Vavasoo has a really gentle rocking motion which my baby seems to like a lot. It does shut off after 45 min, but I just turn it off and then immediately back on right before I go to sleep, so that it resets the 45 minute timer I took off 1 star as it make a clicking noise sometimes while it’s rocking - it’s not super loud and usually the sound machine covers it up, but sometimes I can hear it and it’s annoying - but other than that, it’s great and I’ve been getting 7-8 hours of sleep a night ... show more

I was looking for something a little bit cheaper than the Snoo or Cradlewise and stumbled along this crib. Our 6 week old was not fussy every time we put him into his transitional crib. We also have the Biliboo which didn't afford any of us the best of sleep. I'm talking about him crying for us every 20-40 minutes throughout the night. We ordered this Wednesday of last week and it arrived midday on Sunday. My partner immediately set it up and we gave it a go. In our minds, his sleeping couldn't possibly get worse than it was. We were pleasantly surprised at how well he took to it! He is now waking up every 2-3 hours which feels like a luxury at this point. I think it shuts off after 40-45 minutes- sometimes he wakes up when it shuts off, and other times, it doesn't. If we're awake, we'll just turn on the rocker again. Over the past two nights, he's been a lot easier to settle when he wakes up. Instead of being awake for 2+ hours, he goes back to sleep in 30 minutes. I usually will hold him until the 45 minute to an hour mark. The speaker is not the best. I didn't purchase it for that feature and I do not utilize it. We've been keeping the TV on for background noise and he's been sleeping though the Olympics with all of the cheering on of the crowds. One of our cats is currently in the hall meowing loudly and our son is still asleep. This item is returnable so you have plenty of nights to try it out.     • Very bad handling during shipping

The product itself looks and works fine. However, the packaging was horrible. The box it was shipped in was all ripped open and sloppily taped together. Fortunately, the original bow it was packaged in was not damaged, so the product inside was not damaged.
