I am shocked by how quickly this thing heats and how quickly it warms an entire room! We have one in our kitchen, dining area which is 12' x 25' and one in our adjoining den which is 22' x 18' (8' ceilings). I walked in this morning and it showed to be 54 degrees. I turned these on and within 10 minutes it was nice in there. I set the temperature control on 78 degrees and have them oscillating. My separate thermometer on the mantle showed 68 degrees within 20 minutes! It's not just the heat but the dispersion of the heat that sets this apart. I'm in my '50's and have had any number of space heaters in my life. I've never seen anything like this. Setting one in front of you shows you how it blows not only down, but upward as well. I can feel the direct heat 10' away as it warms the entire room. Last year our central air units both died and we didn't have the $9,500 to replace them. We went with Midea window a/c's (an excellent choice) that use 20% of the energy our central units did and keep the entire house cooler and drier without the need for any fans (which our central units needed). But when winter came, there's no heating function on them. That's when I stumbled upon this jewel. We're able to heat our entire home with space heaters at 30% of the cost of the energy and natural gas! When I can save 70% on electricity, that's a fantastic product. Features: * Forced air delivered low and high * Oscillating to help distribute the heat over a larger area * Can be set on "low", "high" or by temperature (which works SO well) * Includes a timer so it will automatically shut off after however many hours you choose * Has a little nook in the back that holds the remote control * Has a remote control! Cons: I wish it had a smart chip like our Midea A/C's with an app where you could control it with your phone from anywhere. That's really the only thing missing from this amazing product. Takeaway: I highly recommend getting at least one of these. Amazon has an amazing price. They will not only make you more comfortable in your home but save you money on electricity and natural gas, only heating the area you need. This heater worked great for temperature control. The safety features helped so much while we had a small child around. It wasn’t noisy. The power quality was great. For the price it was worth buying I would recommend to buy again.

heat distribution plus remote is very good. only con is very noisy-not quiet. heat distribution makes up for con. recommend purchase.

Pros: remote is nice. Oscillation is nice. Instant-warm-up is nice. But, I would not buy this again. I am currently using this in a 9x14 room that is not connected to my central house heat. It is currently 49° outside temp. I have this heater sitting on my desk, a foot away from my face and pointed at me, and I can barely feel the warmth. Also, there is no safety / auto off that I have been able to trip. If it falls over, it keeps going. I can pick it up and carry it around and it keeps going. For that reason, I would not put it in a child's room or in a setting where it was not watched constantly. I've had for 11 months. It does a mediocre job, isn't noisy, and I haven't had any "issues" with it - but these things that I'm pointing out are worth being aware of, and if I had known ahead of time, I would not have purchased. I just purchased a different unit to replace this one. ... show more
