It clearly states in description on this mount it can hold a phone 5.4"-7.2" I measured my phone with case (Otter box iphone15pro max) and it was less than 7" tall the width of the phone and case is not an issue and I have to struggle getting it in and out of the mount. I understand it fitting snuggly but darn it's super tight. Other than that, I don't think my phone is going to fall out. LOL
