The phone holder came professionally packaged with sharp graphics on the box and the components and tools nestled in closed cell foam. Assembly and installation were easy with very well illustrated directions. All tools are included but be sure to keep the tools if you want to adjust some of the holder's features later as the fasteners have anti-tamper heads. The construction of the unit is very good with CNC machined aluminum. The anodizing was even in color. The bolts appear to be stainless steel. I had to switch the friction insert to the larger one to fit my bike (Honda VFR 800). Check the inside diameter of your steering yoke as the larger insert was just large enough to fit my bike at around 26mm or 1 inch. The holder had enough adjustment to hold my phone (Motorola Edge+) with the phone's kickstand case installed. The locking spring loaded mechanism is simple to use but it does require some force to insert the phone. The phone is really secure in the holder with the top and bottom held by "claws" and the sides secured by bumpers. The holder's contact points have silicone pads so it is not the aluminum construction touching the phone. Adjusting tilt and height of the holder is straightforward but does require the use of one of the included tools. I am keeping the tools in my tank bag just in case I need to make an adjustment. So far so good on the phone holder remaining stable while riding. It did not shift during the ride. The vibration dampening system seems to work well. This holder is a very good value for the money. I will purchase another one for my second bike.

Loved this thing so much, I bought two. It's very sturdy, easy to install for any size phone and has total freedom of movement to readjust how you like. Even better, the mount has dampers so your camera's optical zoom won't get messed up from the vibrations of riding (yes this is a big problem, one of my phone's cameras stop working cause of it). And to top it off, it's hella easy to put the phone in and out of the mount. I can do it with one hand in 5 seconds lol the spring from the mount is more than enough to hold it but there is also a screw on the backside to further lock the phone in place. You can't beat it for the price. Quadlock is cool and all but requires a special case to work which last time I checked they don't even make one that fits my phone (Sony Xperia 1 III). So if you want to keep your unique case, this is the mount for you. Lastly, this has the same size ball mount as most cameras use so I can swap in my Insta360 for track days whenever I want on the same steering column mount. A++ in my book.

Okay, my initial review... I wasn't super excited about a phone mount, I just knew I needed one. I wanted something quality that would mount securely. I've had bad experiences with other mounts that grab a handlebar. Phones would eventually rotate downward and become loose, and it was always a battle. I wanted something to grabbed the top of the forks or one that gets bolted down, and found this one. It got here VERY quickly. Just holding the box, you can feel the weight. It didn't feel like the cheap plastic garbage. The contents were package neatly and the product is beautiful. You can tell they cared when they designed it. There are at least 7 adjustments on the holder itself to fit your specific device. Two different stem mounts. There are even extra rubber pads to change from red to black. The spot I chose for mine so access to the key was easier does make it tougher to reach the locking knob for the spring loaded arm. But not a complaint or issue. I WASN'T super excited about a phone mount, but I'm in love so far. I'll update in a week or two after it sees some mileage and bumps in the road.

Very stable and durable. I am confident in its construction as I was not with other brands. If you pay 1500$ for a phone, the higher cost of a solid phone holder is well worth it. The holder is also easy to take off and put back on. I just keep the star key for removal in my forward cargo box.
