The fresh lemon scent is a nice touch, making the cleaning process feel a bit more premium. However, the cartridge doesn’t last long; I found myself needing to replace it every month or even sooner with regular use. Considering the price, it adds up quickly, making it an expensive maintenance cost over time. It’s convenient, but I wish it offered more value for the price. This stuff works...cleans my razor with a nice antiseptic-lemony scent! I use that solution as a stand-in after-shave fragrance. I realize that it's not recommended and most likely harmful, but when you alredy have one foot in the grave, and another on a banana peel...what the heck! The ladies at the retirement home love it!

I have a 10+ years old Series 5 Braun shaver and these new design cartridges are fully compatible with my cleaning station. They hold the same amount of cleaning fluid as the old ones. They are also manufactured in Ireland, just like the old ones. No leaks or problems. The only negative is that the price went up. When the cleaning process is completed and the shaver has been abled to dry, simply insert the plug back into the cartridge and set aside for the next cleaning to minimize evaporation.
