I ordered this Braun travel alarm clock because it was described as 'high precision and quiet movement.' However, it isn't quiet at all - you can hear the seconds ticking across the room. I have one of these in every room. They are long-lasting, small and work really well. They are among my favorite things.

This was a bit pricey, but hey it's a Braun and I figured the quality would make up for the price. But when I received it, it looked and felt like a cheap little clock. One year later it routinely fails to keep time and with out rhyme or reason occasionally loses an hour or two. I swapped out what I thought was fresh battery with a brand new one and it still failed. Which means if you are using it to actually get up on time and get to work, it could cost you your job. Don't buy this. ... show more
