Pros: couch is beautiful. We got it in the blue color and it’s very gorgeous and the material soft. The little pillows it comes with are cute. It’s extremely easy to assemble. The cushions are firm but not too firm. Returning it is easy enough since Amazon will pick it up from our house. Cons: it arrived broken. We turned it upside down to attach the legs when it arrived and we noticed the fabric looked odd at one part of the front edge (like where our legs would hang down). We felt the area and it quickly became obvious that the wood in that spot under the fabric was broken and splintered. Even if it hadn’t arrived broken, we may have ended up returning it anyway because it’s not very comfortable. I’m only 5’0” and the back of the couch stops just at my shoulders. So basically we would never be able to comfortably lean back against the couch. Which makes the chaise portion of this kind of pointless… If you only want it for show or to sit on for a small amount of time without the expectation of leaning back and getting comfortable, it should be fine. But this was intended for our family’s living room where we plan to relax and watch TV, so not good for us. ... show more

This couch is very firm but not in a way your body hurts while sitting on it, it is comfortable. 1 took one star off because it is more firm than j expected.
