I used to weight around 160lbs back in highschool at 5' 9" which isn't the best but not the worse and when I went to college I got super fat my 2nd year of college. I'm talking weighing around 250lbs and honestly was never able to get rid of it. It was difficult for me to maintain a habit to work out and eat healthy. Over the years I ate healthier and lost a bit of weight to around 225 -230 but stayed like that for nearly 15 years. My sister recommended me this carnitine she liked to use so I said I'll try it not thinking much like any other "weight loss gimmick" . Boy was I wrong, I started using it in June 2023 and after 4 months have actually lost about 15lbs. Started out slowly but I did see a decrease and this is with not doing any exercise. After two months I tried to better myself started working out at least 2 to 3 times a week and than it really took off last two months. 10/15/23 I am now at 209lbs which is a weight I haven't reached since 2007-2008 and I am feeling better about myself with more energy and my hunger has shrunk. I would definitely recommend this for weight loss and the snow cone flavor tastes great! I'm almost out of the 200's range woo! ... show more

    • Seems to aid workouts by burning fat, building muscle and decreasing recovery time. And no jitters!

I don't think this will help you lose fat or weight if you're not working out. It's not a miracle worker like some of the negative reviewers think it is. But, if you do work out, this combination of supplements seems to burn fat and build muscle more so than just working out alone. Since taking this for a couple of months my weight has not really changed. Maybe I lost a couple of pounds. But what did happen is I have much faster recovery from exercise so I can workout more. And my belt size has gone down a notch or two while my muscle mass has increased. I can do a pretty big workout now (for my age that is!) and the days after I'm hardly sore at all. If I had done this workout in the past without this supplement I would be so sore I couldn't work out for days. Now I work out on a smaller scale daily and do a bigger workouts twice a week. After 2 months I'm up to 90 push ups in 2 sets now and am aiming eventually to get to 100 in one set. (We'll see about that!) And I'm old. Like early retirement old LOL. I also think this supplement curbs your appetite. I don't have cravings during the day after I take this in the morning. My cravings come back at night though, so I have to be careful not to go wild at dinner. I suppose I could take the supplement twice a day as the package suggests, but for now I'm just using it in the morning until I get my next physical and make sure it is not having any detrimental effects on my blood work. Now I will say, as others have noted, this powder is too sweet for my taste. So instead of mixing with 8 ounces of water, I mix it with 16 to water it down a bit. Works well enough for me. So I'd say if you're working out and have hit a plateau, give this a try. It should help with your recovery, fat burning and muscle building - and it may curb your appetite. So the number question we have is: Do you lose weight when you take it? Right? Look I can’t tell you for certain it does. I can tell you this: I used this twice a day as directed and hit the gym 3-4 times per week. I am seeing weight come off. Is it the workout or the product. I can’t say for sure I but THINK it’s both. Here’s what I can say. I like the taste. I’ve had the watermelon and the sno cone and they both taste good and mix pretty well. The directions say to mix with 8 oz water but I go 32 and it’s still pretty sweet . I’d say give a tub a try ... show more
