The ladder was exactly as described. Was easy to extend and contract. Was not too heavy to carry snd sturdy fully extended. Care must be taken according to instructions to prevent injuries to hands. The only complaint was the ladder wouldn’t go in the bag, it must have been for thr 24 foot ladder.

Bought this to get onto a one story house roof and tackle other projects. I previously used a long step ladder that had hinges for different configurations. the big ladder became a bit too awkward to maneuver when extended to full length and this type of collapsible unit seemed ideal. I bought the heavy duty model (yellow) and it really feels sturdy. Weighs a ton, at least to me, maybe 35/40 pounds. I haven't found a way yet, when collapsing the ladder, to avoid finger pinches. Be very careful when releasing the locking clips to get another section lowered. Best way so far, is to grab the side rails with your palms, and use your thumb to move the latches. Unit fits in the back of my truck, so portable. The included case fits pretty snug, so I stopped using that after the first time out. I will only use it for long term storage.

15.5 foot telescoping ladder: I've had the opportunity to use this twice today to do some cement repair at the top of my chimney. The specific uses I mention in the headline are - if you don't want drag the big bulky ladder out for a small job, or you don't have a big bulky ladder (like me). I gave sturdiness 4 stars, but this rating must take into account the type of ladder this is. It feels strong enough, but be aware that due to the telescoping design, it will bow and wobble somewhat. I expected this, and it was not a negative factor for me. Take into account the job you are doing, and know that due to the bowing inward as you ascend, the angle of the ladder near the top will be less than the angle of the ladder before mounting. As for expanding and contracting the telescoping function, it is easy to put up and take down. This will get regular use from me!

We bought this ladder specifically to paint the atrium in our bathroom. It was perfect for this long narrow space. The ladder is easy to extend and is well made, however you need to be very careful not to hurt your fingers when retracting and it's helpful to have four hands. There are warning labels on every rung about this. We purchased the heavy-duty version and there was minimal flex when climbing up the ladder. The only negative was the storage bag supplied did not fit. It was probably for a smaller model. However, you don't really need a storage bag. I would recommend this product and think it's great value for the price.

Let’s start with the obvious…it’s a copy of the more expensive Xtend & Climb. It looks the same but…it’s not. The ladder when fully extended does not invoke confidence. It flexes way more than the name brand unit. The plastic is far more brittle than the name brand. I’m no expert on plastic grades but they are for sure different. The name brand is far more durable. The storage bag that comes with it is pretty useless. It is made a tad too small and you can’t get it all the way down on the ladder which causes the seams to start coming apart since it’s so tight. Not a big deal, but if it comes with a storage bag, it should fit. Now, with all that said, it’s a decent ladder. Good for occasional use and it stores in a small area which is nice. If you use it a lot, like I do for work, buy the name brand. Based on my experience so far, I don’t think it will last the year, but we’ll see. I’ll post again after repeated use to see if my initial observations are correct.

A great all-purpose ladder for around the house. One of the best parts is that when its collapsed I can carry it under one arm comfortably. I weigh north of 250lbs and I'm perfectly confident on this ladder. Sometimes it can be a little contrary sometimes when retracting, but as long as you keep your fingers out of the way it's been a joy to use.
