I bought these Y connectors so that I could connect two 100w solar panels in parallel to be able to power my camping fridge. They work as described, very study cables and connectors. They have been used outside in the pouring rain and seem to be totally waterproof. Quite difficult to disconnect, but that shows how sturdy the connection is and not a bad thing at all.
