Made with a shiny chrome finish on the base and a sleek black vinyl upholstery on the seat, the Boss Black Caressoft Medical Stool makes an attractive addition to any office. Cleaning the fabric is a cinch and with an ergonomic design, users won't have to worry about their backs becoming stressed. The unit measures 24" W x 24" D x 20.5-26.5" H with the vertical height range of 6". I previously had an ergonomic $400 Swedish made tilting saddle stool. Saddle stools may be great at preventing back problems, but as I had learned they can aggravate existing conditions such as spinal stenosis which I have. I bought this chair to replace the saddle stool and am extremely happy with it. The seat padding is very thick. The back pain I had developed with the expensive saddle stool is almost completely gone. The only negative thing about this stool is that the screws under the seat need to be tightened relatively often or they will fall out. I am disabled with spine issues and can't stand long. I had another stool for 6 yrs that was a life saver. But the cushion was 1/2 as thick and seriously flattened over these years. I re-bought the exact same one. But found out after the first week when 2 wheels broke (had a 330lb weight compacity) and the seat flattened that the company did have to make material adjustments for cost purposes. I was mad because they tried to play off the exact stool for degraded materials. So was very happy to find this one. I used it mostly in my kitchen that has a desk next to sink, washer/dryer right off of it. So I rolled everywhere from doing dishes to changing laundry. I am not a little person so I really read the reviews and weight limits. I was a bit concerned that the weight limit was only 275lbs as I weighed that just a year ago. But have brought it down now. I am 250lbs and I am so impressed with this stool. It rolls like I am on glass and the cushion is so comfortable. It is just perfect. I hope it holds for a long time. Easily one of the BEST purchases I've made, recently! I purchased this to use at my computer desk, especially when editing photos. My monitor is large and elevated & this stool is perfect as it sits higher than a regular chair. Also, when not in use it slides right underneath and out of the way. The seat is comfy and quite large, making it feel very stable. It rolls effortlessly on the hardwood floor. Definitely worth the price! ... show more

I use this stool at my art desk and needed another for my easel upstairs. They have a really thick seat that makes it so comfortable when sitting for long periods of time. It rolls really nicely as well.
