I only bought one sub just to see if the price was to good to br true. Ihooked it up and im running it off my 800watt poineer in a ported boxed. Imust say for the price this bad boy is this is a good speaker. The bass is soft but deep. Right now ihave it turned down low but im going to give it about a week and break it in all the way. Do not get this sub. Cheap china garbage. I was running it on 500 watts rms and at first it seemed great. Gave it the 6 to 8 hour break in period, and it actually sounded pretty nice. I will admit that it didn't hit the really low bass amazingly. But besides that it was exactly what I was hoping for. However, after about 20 hours of play time this sub just blew out. I didn't have the gain high, nothing was clipping... it was only on 3/4ths volume. I actually had thought I was running this on 1000 watts, but I looked at how I had my amp bridged and it was only running 500 watts. I could not believe it. Sure, I probably got a dud. But this just shows the quality control of this brand. Another thing was the little handles on the inside of the basket for pulling the sub out of the box just snapped right off when I tried to pull it out. Then the plastic rim itself started pealing away from the sub. This thing was falling apart just from gently removing it from the box. The seller, however, was great. They were very agreeable to a return, no hassle. Would definitely buy from them again. I ended up getting a very similar skar audio sub, and that's been serving me great. About twice the price, but well worth it. The bass is much punchier and hits far lower. Just spend the extra dollars or get something used. Not worth risking something cheap just to get it new. ... show more

First time ive ever bought speakers in my life. My brother has his car sounding really nice and i was like humm i wanna try this. So i purchased two of these and needless to say now my brother has even ordered himself some.

Update: The coil went on this Sub, did a good job while it lasted. Always check if sub has enough room in its box and for proper power from amp. This sub will sound really good for the money. *********** I've had this for about 2 weeks and can not seem to get it to hit hard. The gain on the amp was at about 50% and still just barely heard the sub. I'm not sure if this is due to my amp not having the right amount of power for the sub to play or what. So just waiting to upgrade my amp by the weekend and will be updating this review if there's a difference in how the sub responds. Otherwise the sub looks very solid for an entry-level type, which is all I really need at this point at least until my car becomes less of a daily driver lol. ... show more

Don’t do like me. Wired 2-12s 2300 watt to 1 Ohm on a Boss 4000 watt amp (1800 actually) they shook the rear view mirror off. Ppl honestly thought I had 15s. They lasted 5 months till I turned the gain up on my radio an did not reset amp to clipping again My Fault. Anyway my warranty was out so I ordered 2 more can’t wait to install ... show more
