This shredder is capable of handling up to 16 sheets of paper simultaneously and is also capable of CDs and credit cards. Staples are not an issue for this shredder. This shredder is equipped with Auto-Start and Auto-Reverse functions. The Auto-Reverse function is designed to eliminate paper jams. Furthermore, this shredder automatically prevents overheating and overload situations. This shredder is capable of a full 60-minute duty cycle after which a 20-minute cool-down interval is required. This shredder has a 5.3-gallon collection bit which can be pulled out easily for disposal. The body of the shredder has a set of four (4) casters which allow the shredder to be easily moved, when needed. Finally, this shredder has a very quiet operation capability producing less than 60dB of noise when operating. I chose this shredder because of its 16-sheet shredding capability, its P-4 shredding capability, its large collection bin, and its low noise specification. I haven’t used it a lot o long term durability isn’t determined. It is really quiet , shreds fast and looks nice. The pull out waste container is easy to remove and reinstall. It is heavy and rolls nicely on the provided casters, which two of them have brakes. At this time I would buy again.

The media could not be loaded. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRAND SHREDDER!! I BOUGHT THERE HEAVY DUTY 16 PAGE SHREDDER. I had to replace the first one because of it being defective! And Now after just barely past the warranty period AND I MEAN ABOUT 1MONTH past the warranty I started having problems with the shredding. I barely used my shredder when it started jerking when shredding, started making a loud clicking noise, started making a loud squeaking sound started having issues with it pulling the paper in to shred. I started having problems with it auto shutting off (it kept running until I turned the power off manually). I contacted the manufacturer, submitted multiple videos at there demand, explained my issues and reminded them there own trouble shooting guide stated to stop using it and replace it. I asked them if they would replace it based on having so many issues and that they had to replace the first one sent to me AND THE FACT IT WAS JUST PASTED THE WARRANTY PERIOD. I was finally TOLD NO BECAUSE IT WAS PASSED THE WARRANTY PERIOD. You would think customer satisfaction in there product was and meant something to them!! SO BOTTOM LINE: THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCT & THERE PRODUCT DOES NOT HOLD UP!!! For the money I Paid for this 16 sheet heavy duty shredder you would think it would have lasted longer than 13 Months!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THERE PRODUCTS!!! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEM!! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE & QUALITY OF THERE SHREDDERS!!!!! BUYER BE WARNED!!!

I am very happy with this shredder (micro cut). So far I have done envelopes full of junk mail, Staples on several sheets , credit cards, cardboard and a CD to test has not stalled yet.

FIRST, THIS IS NOT SPONSORED OR COMMISSIONED - Just writing the kind of review I like to read if I were still searching for a shredder :) Stop looking & buy this :) - I did all that so you don't have to! (imho). Have owned other shredders for sensitive documents etc & wanted a top of the line. THIS SHREDDER: MICRO-CUT = The better cut, it's like tiny confetti, not strips that could be glued back together. TINY-SIZED MICRO-CUT "CONFETTI" = This one micro cuts to a tiny size; better since the whole purpose is to shred for security reasons QUIET = 60 db (imho) Not loud. I sat right in front of it & could've talked on my phone at the same time. So, you could also use this is one room & it wouldn't hinder anyone else sleeping or watching TV etc in another area. GOOD SIZE = 5.3 gallon means you could shred 480pages before you need to empty it. Big enough to shred & hold a bunch, but not so big that you can't make is discreet in a room or home office EASY SETUP = Super easy right out of the box. I don't want to deal with complicated or time consuming setups. With this, you won't have to either. WHEELS W/ LOCKABLE CASTERS = 4 wheels - 2 have locking "flap" USE = 60 minutes of run time until it stops to cool itself down (seems more than enough time even if papers pile up) SAFETY = Auto stop if you open bin while shredding (I tested this!) SUMMARY: Right kind of shredding cut (tiny micro confetti) Quiet Low Noise Easy to use Easy to open to empty or to look in there Can insert multiple pages to shred at one time - bye junk mail! Not a-gazillion buttons, just the ones you need. Looks decent Hope this helps :)
