You have to recharge it at LEAST every 2 days and it takes around 8 hours to charge….almost wish it was replaceable batteries rather than a rechargeable one. Better luck with other products. Tons of false alarms with motion detection as well.

    • Installing the doorbell

The instructions are not very intuitive. Do be sure to charge the unit overnight before installing. I did set up the unit and got it connected to my WIFI and seems to work well. My current problem is that I did not pair the separate chime with the unit prior to setting it all up with WIFI and all the work you do on your smart phone to get it connected. So far have not found a way to pair the chime with the unit unless doing a factory reset, and I don't want to do that. They don't tell you about what direction to go on the sensitivity motion detector level to use. Trial and error. On the Scale of 1 to 5. The closer you get to one the less sensitive it is. The closer you get to 5, the higher sensitivity it uses. A 2 works best for me. It does give you the option to format the SD card once you get it all set up. Other than the chime pairing issue, I have not had any other complaints about it. ... show more
