I purchased standard grip. The mat grips my vinyl with the perfect amount of adhesion. I would perhaps be wary of using them for paper crafts because they are very sticky. The mat itself is thick and durable. I see no need to purchase the Silhouette brand as opposed to these off brand mats. I am thrilled that I don't have to pay full price for excellent quality.

I literally never use the mat that came with the silhoutte and exclusively use this. I took the recommendation from another artist, and I do not regret it. It's easier to take off stickers from this mat and lasts a decent amount of time. Since it comes with 3 mats, I don't worry when one of the mats loses its adhesive. It's so reasonably priced and will continuing using them!

These cutting mats were very nice and heavy duty. They had a nice medium stickiness to them. The only problem I had is that the size is a little bit smaller than the Silhouette mat. It took me a little bit to figure out where to place my sheet on the mat, and how to feed it into My Silhouette t, that the registration marks would read correctly. Once I did it worked great

I bought a Silhouette Portrait 2 earlier this year and it came with a cutting mat...that my son promptly cut up into a million pieces. I needed a replacement and bought another mat made by Silhouette. It lasted about a month before the tackiness wore away. So off to Amazon I went, in search of a better replacement! This listing popped up in the suggestion list and I was immediately intrigued because it came with THREE mats! I purchased the mats and they came very quickly. That was in October. It is now December and I am still using the first sticky mat, the tackiness is still very much present and I am extremely pleased. I do sort of wish that the mat had the smaller grid printed on the mat, but the large one inch grid is good enough. That is my only complaint. I absolutely recommend this cutting mat for anyone who cuts vinyls or stickers.

So far I put one through the wringer making Paper flowers and it's still sticky but does not ruin the paper if you remove it gently. The price can't be beat for three mats. UPDATE i saw instructions that you can gently wash the mat when its gets grimy and it will retain its stickiness. This is 100% TRUE. i gently washed my mat with dish soap and a soft sponge and let it air dry. When it was dry it was back to normal tack and nicely clean. this means that the life of these mats will be at least double the others and you get three of them. Do not hesitate to Buy!!! I am using a silhouette portrait 2 and have had no problems with loading or cutting.
