  • Works well
Size: 1 Motion Sensor 1 Receiver
I have an elderly parent with Alzheimer’s I care for. I am hard of hearing so I got this for nights when she gets up it will alert me. It is loud so it has to be on the low setting. The intercom feature will not work for her because of the fact she has Alzheimer’s and doesn’t understand how to use it. I am happy with this alarm. ... show more

  • The manual switch needs to be improved!
Size: 1 Motion Sensor 1 Receiver
The pager switch is difficult to navigate in the dark! Selection of "ding dong" "off" and "alarm" are too close together and do not have a definite STOP spot at each designation. Often the switch moves from the far left (ding dong) to far right (alarm) without the feeling of a noticeable stop in between(OFF). And the alarm is so loud, it can wake the whole neighborhood. ... show more

  • Lasted 8 months
Size: 1 Motion Sensor 1 Receiver
Purchased in July, totally stopped working in March. When it did work, the alarm was VERY loud!! Uncomfortably loud. We kept it inside two piars of fleece socks inside the china cabinet in the dining room and was still loud enough to wake us when it went off.

Even though I have camera in room that aletts me you do become use to the alerts when really tired. With this alarm you can set volume higher and keep pager close to you. My husband doesnt like it so he lays back down!😄

  • Peace of mind at last.
Size: 1 Motion Sensor 1 Receiver
This inexpensive, little device solved my problem. The patient has a history of falling, even with a walker. I placed a bell next to her bed, and a horn on her walker, but although she promises to call for me at night, she either forgets or just doesn't want to bother me. The volume level of the alarm is loud but that's good. If you don't want it quite so alarming, it's easy enough to muffle it with a blanket or pillow, or just leave it in a different room than where you plan to be. It can be heard throughout my house. The alarm can also be worn on my belt and has coverage throughout the house and even when I'm in the yard or garage. Sensor placement: At first, I placed the sensor on the floor on the side of the bed where she normally rises, but one morning, she rose from the foot of the bed, and it failed to alert me. I now place the sensor on a table with coverage over the entire bed. I get a errant alarm from time to time as she tosses in bed, but I can fine tune the location to minimize false alerts. I'll happily accept an occasional false alarm over the risk of a fall any day. Now here's a tip: Have 2 sensors to cover movement in bed and a second one to alert you when the patient has her feet on the ground. You can distinguish which is which by assigning different alert sounds: I like the "Ding Dong! Ding Dong!" for bed movement and the "Lone Ranger theme when her feet reach the ground. Also if you're thinking in terms of your loved one falling, this site has vendors who sell anti-fall inflatable vests specifically with the elderly in mind. They seem impressive to me. ... show more

  • Great for dementia patients who wander!
Size: 2 Motion Sensors 1 Receiver
The media could not be loaded. This device works just as advertised. Senses movement and sends a signal to the pager to alert caregiver. My room is across the house from my dad and I didn’t always hear him when he got up. Now I know every time and can be there to help him!

  • Great producr
Size: 1 Motion Sensor 1 Receiver
I placed the scanner under the bed. Joe, if someone gets up without asking for help, the alarm goes off. Works great. Only thing I would change is the slider button to turn the alarm on and off is very small and hard to access quickly
