Love this piece. Disks come separately. We paired this with Rogue disks, but any disk brand will do. This took 6 hours and 3 people to assemble but we are not experts at all. Very good value for your money. My husband and I are both the same Height. We are both 5’7...he has short legs and I have long legs. So with that in mind. Here my review. The machine itself is very well made. The pads are nice. I would say 90% of the machine is steel and very heavy. It doesn’t take up a lot of space. You can adjust the settings to fit your needs. Overall, I am very happy with my leg press. The bad part about the machine. Their clear plastic over the lettering. Be cautious pulling this off. All the boxes are very heavy. I would recommend the package being dropped off as close to the area where it will be used. How to put it together?? Unpack everything and make sure you have all the parts. Read the directions and follow them exactly. I would sort out all the screw. Check all sizes and match them together. This will save you a lot of headaches later. Again don’t skip and steps. I tried skipping a step and the frame would not fit together. The base will go together first and then the sides. I would recommend pre-fiting The frame before sliding the tran on. I turned the machine on it side to slide the tran on. Tran part is very heavy and needs to be put together first. However mine was already Assembled. I made sure it was put together correctly. Slide the Tran all the way down and stand the machine upright. Then assembly the back part of the frame. See pic above. Putting the machine together is hard if you don’t take your time. Note: If the Tran come Assembled it will look like your missing parts. Look at the Tran before calling anyone. Once you have put the frame part together the rest is easy. Just following the directions and you should be good. Seller review The seller was very helpful when I had problems with the shipping. They will need your phone number to set up drop off for the product. Amazon is not very clear about this. Any large heavy product will need to be delivered by box truck. You will also need to check your Amazon messages and your spam email. This was my mistake. The seller will help you out. ... show more

    • Pretty good machine
Time consuming assembly, but not especially challenging if one is mechanically inclined. Missing a cap screw that I’ll likely source myself to avoid the frustration of waiting for a replacement. Operates smoothly in leg press configuration, though if much shorter than 5’6” one may encounter range of motion issues. Hack squats on my machine are problematic because of the tendency for the safety arms to fall into the locked position. I have heard that Velcro can be installed to prevent this, so I intend to try. We relocated and sold this exact unit. After building out our new gym, we bought it again. This is the 2nd one I have owned. Incredibly well built! Not a hard assembly… Takes a couple of hours. Most important to lay out all the parts. I labeled all the screws by pile. Some of the parts on the roller were already assembled even though the instructs told ya how to do it. So the parts I thought were missing were already assembled. Took me only 2-3 minutes to figure that part. I give it a solid 5 stars just like my last one!!! ... show more

    • Hubby loves it! Works great. Hard to put together
Solid construction. Well designed for a workout. Instructions for putting it together were crap. Make sure to use the enclosed instructions to measure the bolts. Online instructions were not to scale. Parts were not marked and bolts , nuts and washers came jumbled up together in a bag. Several stages were included on each page which should have had more pages and better resolution of detail. I ended up taking apart half of page 1 in order to accomplish stage 4. On page three is when you install the press into the side rails. This is not made clear at all. And the center beam at the end is in the way. I took this apart more than I put it together. I am semi-pro at building and these were the second worst instructions I have ever seen. A couple of bolts were inside the press and were impossible to tighten without an 18mm crescent wrench, which I had to purchase. ... show more

Second product from body solid. Awful installation and instructions. Don’t recommend buying any products from Body Solid. Holes were not pre drilled accurately, overall poor value for the price.

Great for the price. Solid feel, well constructed, great addition to our home gym, very happy. This was an easy build, just under 3 hours by myself. As others have noted, sort screws/washers first and label. Only complaint would be a longer seat. Others are selling the exact same machine just under a different product name. Tried buying from another Seller first. After 2 weeks of excuses I cancelled. I ordered this one from Gronk Fitness, within 24 hrs they reached out for some additional info and was shipped.
