Very good value for your money. My husband and I are both the same Height. We are both 5’7...he has short legs and I have long legs. So with that in mind. Here my review. The machine itself is very well made. The pads are nice. I would say 90% of the machine is steel and very heavy. It doesn’t take up a lot of space. You can adjust the settings to fit your needs. Overall, I am very happy with my leg press. The bad part about the machine. Their clear plastic over the lettering. Be cautious pulling this off. All the boxes are very heavy. I would recommend the package being dropped off as close to the area where it will be used. How to put it together?? Unpack everything and make sure you have all the parts. Read the directions and follow them exactly. I would sort out all the screw. Check all sizes and match them together. This will save you a lot of headaches later. Again don’t skip and steps. I tried skipping a step and the frame would not fit together. The base will go together first and then the sides. I would recommend pre-fiting The frame before sliding the tran on. I turned the machine on it side to slide the tran on. Tran part is very heavy and needs to be put together first. However mine was already Assembled. I made sure it was put together correctly. Slide the Tran all the way down and stand the machine upright. Then assembly the back part of the frame. See pic above. Putting the machine together is hard if you don’t take your time. Note: If the Tran come Assembled it will look like your missing parts. Look at the Tran before calling anyone. Once you have put the frame part together the rest is easy. Just following the directions and you should be good. Seller review The seller was very helpful when I had problems with the shipping. They will need your phone number to set up drop off for the product. Amazon is not very clear about this. Any large heavy product will need to be delivered by box truck. You will also need to check your Amazon messages and your spam email. This was my mistake. The seller will help you out.

Hubby loves it! Works great. Hard to put together
Solid construction. Well designed for a workout. Instructions for putting it together were crap. Make sure to use the enclosed instructions to measure the bolts. Online instructions were not to scale. Parts were not marked and bolts , nuts and washers came jumbled up together in a bag. Several stages were included on each page which should have had more pages and better resolution of detail. I ended up taking apart half of page 1 in order to accomplish stage 4. On page three is when you install the press into the side rails. This is not made clear at all. And the center beam at the end is in the way. I took this apart more than I put it together. I am semi-pro at building and these were the second worst instructions I have ever seen. A couple of bolts were inside the press and were impossible to tighten without an 18mm crescent wrench, which I had to purchase.

Not bad for my home gym, awful assembly process
It's sturdy, straight forward assembly, but a b*tch to do. G & D did NOT fit like they were supposed to. I figured it out, but it was not made properly.

This thing is stout!
This thing is stout! The instructions, as many people have said, are somewhat difficult. It's just a little different. Do be aware that there are M10 x 75mm and also M12 x 75mm. Don't get them mixed up. The cushions are comfortable. The moving back rest is very heavy. Even without any added weights, it can use a lot of force to move. I am going to love this. I want to get really good. Watch "Anything Sports Leg Press/Hack Squat Assembly Video" by Evan on YouTube for help assembling this machine. It's a different brand, but the same machine. It helped a lot.

Awesome!
Purchased this as an addition to my home gym. Like the other reviewers have stated it takes about 5-6 hours to assemble, and while there are no real instructions if you take your time and do it by steps as it is laid out it is fairly simple to put together. One person can do it, two would make it easier but not necessarily quicker. There were a few missing bolts of one type and extras of others but I had similar bolts available in my garage, so no big deal for me. I use it almost every day. Switching between exercises is very easy and there are several different settings to use for each exercise so you can do different variations of each one. Really like the small footprint. If you are in the market for a leg press / hack squat machine look no further... this is the one. I would recommend purchasing the "refurbished" model as it is no different from a brand new one- I couldn't find one part that appeared to be used in any way... plus you can save hundreds going this route.

Doesn't glide and gets stuck
Extremely mad and disappointed! Since I purchased this leg press in 2022 I have not been able to use it. The wheels do not run smoothly, dont glide and it gets stuck, even when using fitness grade lubricants. Dont buy this. Save your money.

Amazed
I was very VERY worried about ordering this product online. I have researched this leg press for months before I finally had enough cash saved up to purchase it in full. Even after I had the cash sitting in my account I was concerned that the product would not arrive at my house in one piece or would be damaged or lost in shipment. After looking for one last week to find it locally which was a total failure I bought it from Amazon. Once the order button was hit I received the typical email from Amazon indicating the purchase was complete. I then waited 4 days and received an email from the vendor letting me know the product was in shipment. The trucking company contacted me to set up a drop off to my house. They were completely professional and the leg press (all 5 boxes) were on a skid and banded down tight. So far it appeared to be going well however a small piece of me was still concerned some screws, bolts, or something was going to be missing. The following day my son and I began to assemble the machine. It still shocks me to the core that all the pieces were in the boxes and assembly was fairly straight forward. The leg press is SOLID from head to toe and we even had extra washers supplied. This has turned out to be a GREAT addition to my little home gym! I would recommend this to anyone!

Most confusing instructions ever
It's an alright machine but the instructions are absolute crap, and the parts lists of the numerous different bolts and washers are very confusing.
