(Update 1) The issue I was having was user error on my part, a case of overthinking gone awry. Turns out I did not have to remove the seat tube and fidget with the plastic snap buttons at all in order to insert the lock pin. After turning the equipment upside down I realized I just simply needed to line up the (lock pin) correctly with the holes underneath the seat tube and screw it in. I'm updating my rating to 4 stars for now solely on initial perception of build quality and ease of assembly. I don't know how effective this is as I haven't had the chance to utilize it yet. I purchased this machine back in dec 2022. I hadn't gotten around to assemble or use it until march 2023. Everything was going smoothly until I overlooked the instructions to insert lock pin (part #11) into the seat tube before securing in place with the two provided snap buttons (part #2) Once I realized my mistake and tried to go back and correct, I was left completely stumped on how to remove the snap buttons without having to forcefully dig them out and destroying them in the process. This would also lead to not having any parts to re-secure the seat tube as intended. These untraditional parts seem innovative but how they designed something that once you insert You have no easy foreseeable way to go backwards, remove and reinsert like you would a traditional bolt or screw is mind boggling. They also have no real time customer support. I have to leave a message and have someone call me back or contact via email.

I absolutely love this little powerful workout equipment. I am a body pump enthusiast. I was skeptical about this equipment being a serious body & leg workout machine and the DB Method proved to be serious. If I can get 45 reps in I’m happy but it’s not so easy. I love it’s portability and the simplicity . I can literally keep mine out in my living room all the time because it does not take much space. I don’t regret this purchase.

The first day I tried this, I initially liked it. I could feel the burn in my legs, which told me this was an effective piece of workout equipment. However that changed by day too when I started to feel some mild knee pain, but slightly above the knee. I thought it would go away, but after using this regulalry for a week it just stayed the same. Unfortunately, I won't be able to continue using this machine for that reason. I'd rather feel pain in my glutes or legs telling me this actually works, not the knee area. This is another home machine dud in the end. I've been incredibly fit my entire life always exercising several times a week for decades, so by all means I am a fit person and I don't get aggravations like this. It's only with this machine. I'm not sure why. It's just one repetitive motion and I've done standing squats without any issues. This machine is also double the price. I wouldn't pay more than $100-150 for this. I assumed this would've been a super effective lower body workout, but it's not. Reading some of the more critical reviews, I noticed some other mentioned the knee thing as well too. As far as putting the machine together, that was fast and easy in under 20 minutes. Just disappointed that I won't be able to use this any longer as I don't need unnecessary knee issues caused by this machine alone.
