Last year we took this from the east coast to the Grand Canyon, where we spent a week, and back to the east coast. It did wonderfully. Whether it was in the car or in the hotel room it kept the food perfectly cold. This year it traveled west with us again for over a month and again it performed beautifully. We learned that on days when we were going to drive for hours we could set it to a higher temp (for us it was 42F) and it would keep everything perfect. On days when we were doing a lot of stopping we would set it lower (32F) and it would keep things cold even when sitting in the hot car for hours while we hiked. One thing I did on days we were going to be hiking for hours is put in a few frozen water bottles. This kept everything extra cold and drinking them was a delight after hiking in places like Arches Nat. Park. I do have a few suggestions. 1) VERY IMPORTANT! Do not block the air vents on the cooler. It must have air circulation or you will kill it. 2) Do not tip it up on it's end or flip it upside down (even when cleaning), it's a mini fridge and should be treated as such, the mechanisms are not designed to be abused. (Although ours survived a rear end collision this trip.) 3) Be aware that not all car outlets are created equally and you need to check the voltage output in yours before plugging in. If you don't have enough juice it won't work as designed and if you have to much juice the cord will heat up with the potential to cause other issues. There are some aftermarket adapters that can help with the later problem. I look forward to using it again next year and absolutely recommend it.

This car refrigerator is amazing. I took it on a 3700 mile family road trip and the refrigerator did not disappoint. We had cool drinks at every stop. I was able to plug it into my car accessory outlet and monitor the temperature with the app on my phone. It always kept a constant temperature when plugged in and I was also impressed with the amount of food and drinks it could hold. I wanted to see if it would keep food frozen, so I set the temperature to 17°F and it held steady. The interior LED light is helpful for seeing inside the cooler at night, and the USB charging port is a great feature. The handles were also very sturdy. The ability to toggle between MAX and ECO for cooling, and the battery saver modes was very helpful. I would highly recommend this refrigerator, no more stops to get ice when travelling. It has it's own place in the car now.

We bought this 27 qt cooler when we were planning a 28 Day Road trip from Florida to Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota. This was undoubtedly the best purchase we could possibly have made. It was so nice to have sandwich meats, cheeses, creamer for your morning coffee, and anything else you wanted refrigerated without having to worry about melting ice making an absolute mess of everything. It was so convenient to be able to plug it in when you were traveling, and we separately purchased one of the converters that we could plug in either AC or DC which was very convenient. Even with everything in it, we were able to pick it up much easier than picking up an empty comparable size popular thick sided cooler or similar product. This made it possible to take it into the hotel room on the luggage cart and plug it in without worrying about running down the battery in the vehicle. We also bought a separate power pack that handled AC or DC and, if the nights were cooler, we would just leave the cooler in the Vehicle with the power pack running the cooler rather than plugging into the car and taking the chance of running down the battery. This worked fantastic. We love it so much that when we had everyone here for Thanksgiving, we put all of the drinks in this cooler and didn’t have to worry about messy ice. It was a popular item and we ordered another one to gift my daughter and son-in-law for Christmas. They absolutely love it! We have a motorhome and we now use the cooler in the motorhome for keeping extra drinks nice and cold without having to take up valuable refrigerator space. This product is amazing at keeping the temperature consistent. We keep it set for refrigeration on 37 and it’s amazing how quickly it reaches that temperature when you initially plug it in and how well it maintains it consistently. We have discussed purchasing our other adult children these coolers for Christmas as we are so, so pleased. If you are hesitating, don’t! Not only is the product wonderful but so is the seller. We had an issue with the initial AC plug not connecting well as it was very loose. We contacted the company at their email customer service address and they were extremely prompt, helpful and immediately sent us a new plug. Order it and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. And by the way, the price was much better than the other comparable size coolers we bought previously and now have in our garage basically unused because this has become our favorite!

Bought this to use when transporting food back and forth to our RV on property 3 hours away. It works great and keeps us from having to worry about ice in ice chests etc. Once at the RV we use it to keep drinks extra cold since our RV fridge isn’t the best! My only complaints are that when loaded the handles seem vulnerable and feel like they are barely adequate and since they are hard plastic they can tend to rattle against the hard body of the cooler when driving on less than smooth roads. The fan also makes a little noise sometimes too, but other than those things we love it!

I bought this to keep our drinks cold while camping in our RV, and so that they wouldn't take up precious refrigerator space. I could not be happier! I plugged it in and within a very short period of time it was at temp. I initially set it to 34°, but had to keep raising that because we were getting ice in the drinks. We settled on 36°, which it stayed at consistently the entire week. It did raise somewhat when we added new room temperature cans, but quickly went back to 36°. My only regret is not getting a larger one with wheels. Works better than our refrigerator! No noise that we noticed when it was running. Worth every penny!
