I live in the Puget sound, so night starts at like 2200hrs in the summer as an on-road device, they really make the vehicle signals much more clear ad the typical low trailer light can be not as apparent as I'd like - esp in the sun and these will get the proper attention even in sunlight - and with people on their cell phones..we all need a little more of that. I live in the Puget sound, so night starts at like 1600hrs in the winter they are also good for as guide lights if you come in after dark (which is a lot of the time in winter) and are putting the boat on trailer While this was sent to me for review, I take that job seriously. Had to get replacement sent due to both lenses falling out after first trip. The wires were long and efficient to connect where needed. The top led marker lights are connected to the wires with a split in the main wire and electrical tape, if this doesn’t keep working I’ll need to repair them. As you can see I zip tied the lens on to prevent from falling out again. ... show more

If you're looking to just add extra visibility to your trailer this is a great way to do it with the added benefit of making it easier to load your boat. These lights are well made, plenty of wire is included along with hardware. I didn't ding them a star but the instructions mentioned stainless steel screws included but the screws they included are not stainless steel. When I hook them up to my power supply total current draw is right at about .5 amp per light. ... show more

These are great. I have not fitted them on a pole yet but overall they are very heavy duty. I just connected the wires directly to a battery to see how they looked and they are bright! Will make it easier for others to see the trailer since it's closer to eye level, will definitely keep the lights out of the saltwater which will make them last longer, and make it easier to back up the trailer since I am putting them on a small trailer with a small 13' boat and I cannot see the boat/trailer in my mirrors without these. ... show more

I got these for my boat posts and love them. They make backing a boat in the dock at night effortless. They are bright and I love the white light at the top, easy for guiding the trailer. This is well worth getting if you have a boat and like to go out at night. Install was a piece of cake.
