SO - I have a new mother in law unit that I have been working on for a LONG time, and the living room is about 30 x 24 feet. During the work, I get bored, nothing new there. And I am a golfer, but here in Seattle, we get our share of wet weather. That being said, I have gone to carpet stores, places like Lowes, looking for the perfect putting mat. The rolls are usually 12 feet wide, not really long enough to warrant buying a strip that short. And no way was I about to buy a 12 W x 16 L foot piece of carpet just for a strip that is 16 feet long, by maybe... what, 16 inches wide? Then I saw this and I'm like... Huh! Look at that! 16 feet long, 16 inches wide? This might be perfect. So I ordered it, and you know what? It IS perfect! It's black, I guess if I had my choice of colors I would have gone with green, but I love how this looks and with white golf balls rolling on it, it is awesome. And the icing on the cake? My putting use will not effect it's use for on my boat trailer when the mother in law unit is complete - so it WILL end up on the trailer bunks at some point, (when I will be very happy that this is black, and NOT green, lol) but until then... my putting skills shall improve a lot. So all that being said, I would absolutely order this again for a golf putting mat, or for my trailer boat bunks when it's time to use this for what it's intended purpose was! It's nice.

I ordered this to line my kayak with. It took some cutting and gluing but it worked quite well and now I have a more comfortable inside to sit in. don't judge me, I like whatever luxury I can find. But I didn't need this whole role so I used it for an unintended purpose and I'm even happier with that. In my office I have a counter that I use as a desk. It's 8 feet long and the wall behind it is ugly. I looked at this when I got it and thought this would look awesome to cover up that strip of wall. So I glued it down there and the 16 inches it covered look quite good and I had just enough material left to cut the last four feet into two 8 inch strips and pieced that together to make a two foot band of this carpet as the back wall above my desk and I am very happy. You can't see the seam due to the color. If I had more I could find all kinds of projects this would be suitable for. Given the price it's an inexpensive solution for many things. I highly recommend this for boats, any situation that would result in it getting wet and a wide variety of other projects around the home.

This Marine Grade Padded carpet worked out great on my boat's side boards and it seems well made. Was easy to cut to size and install. I am happy with this Marine Grade Padding and recommend to anyone looking to freshen up their boat trailer.

I purchased this carpet to replace the worn carpet on my jet ski lift. I haven't installed it yet since it winter here in Michigan but plan to in the spring. I inspected it and was impressed with the quality of the material. I think that it will work perfectly and bring our old jet ski lift back to life. I will update if there are any issues.
